Hi.
I bought Cormack's Modified Neutron Blaster Cannon a long time ago on auction. It was mostly a toy, cause I like to go around saying I own the single most destructive weapon in the game, but now that hybrids were boosted a bit I was thinking if I could actually use it in my setups.
Comparing the stats between this gun and the best Tachyon and 1400mm, I noticed a discrepancy. The best officer Tachyon and 1400mm only use as much powergrid as their tech 2 counterparts. Luther Veron's Modified Tachyon and Naiyon's Modified 425mm Railgun, which are event npcs and not officers, actually uses LESS.
Cormack's uses more, 3025 powergrid even after the hybrid boost.
So I'm sitting here thinking, "WTF CCP, U GIMP MA GUN!"
And I decide to check out the damage per second with max skills (no rof implants or dmg mods) on all the best weapons to see if this really IS the uberest of uber guns ingame.
Neutron I - 51.11
Neutron II - 67.47
Cormack's - 76.67
425mm Railgun I - 33.07
425mm Railgun II - 42.65
Naiyon's - 49.91
Tachyon I - 31.28
Tachyon II - 37.54
Luther Veron's - 47.66
1400mm I - 37.32
1400mm II - 49.26
Shaqil's - 58.92
Neutrons are pretty hardcore, and I shouldn't whine that I have the awesomest gun ever :/

I still think it should use only as much grid as the tech 2 version, but only to maintain consistency with the other officer guns.

The grid needs a reduction. Who cares if it's uber powerfull, if you can afford to use a single gun that cost as much as 4 battleships, it should be freaking uber.
Oh and i hate you for owning the single most destructive gun in the game digi
