Please beware Sogdiana and his alt Hammurabi2012 Naari. He will leave your corp and steal whatever he can then demand ransom.
I paid it to have evidence of the theft, please check contracts for proof. He also had the bad sense to price the stuff at or below market. Why he tried to see if I'd forget half my blueprints I'm not sure, but there are two contracts there. |

Ohhhhh *smacks forehead* I knew I forgot something in the interview.
This guy was actualy one of my two directors. I was out for a week and a half due to Hurricane Sandy. In this time they managed to have a minor personal disagreement which he took as license to rob me blind. |

Yes, the other director was silly enough to ask him to stop having bad manners in local chat (i.e., claiming that his shuttle scared off a fleet of dreads when in fact our POS was reinforced, leaving them nothing to do). Amazing what a lot of vodka and a limited understanding of game mechanics can produce in local chat, eh?

The stuff was at/ below market, and now the contract is saved. I could have refused on principle, but then I'd have to rebuy the stuff for more ISK. |

This is why you use audit containers with copies of you're bpc's and have a completely separate place for corps most valuable stuff, using settings to regulate who can get what, screening is cht, always will be, go with the one thought people cannot be trusted and you'll never be surprised 99% of people on earth would sell their mother if the price was high enough. |

To address your second point first, trust no one, yes. Lesson aptly learned, although flew with this guy basically since the inception of my corp.
First, I have a pretty robust & layered permissions system. Only directors & CEO can move BPO/BPC, slightly more can access mins & factory jobs, etc etc. I guess only perfect security is zero access, eh? But then it's just Civ IV with more dickish AI, I guess  |
