Hey guys:
First off I'll dish out +1s:
Mining frigate model: +1
Mining frigate name: +1
Fleet hangar toggles in UI: +1
Login screen, music: +1 (x10) EPIC!
Safety button: +1
Now just a quick question....will gas clouds be going into the ore bay? As it stands right now,
using the mining frigate to harvest gas will require great attention and pretty much force jetcanning
with that tiny little cargo hold. My math thinks the maximum = (3 x SCHO 1 + CEX II = 95m3 ??). I guess
that can work but I would just like to know. I tried to shove some gas in my test server Rorqual ore
bay, but that wasn't allowed.

I was kind of wondering about the usefulness of such a small cargo hold with Gas mining myself. The Ore bay is good, but the Cargo hold.. not so good. Afaik, the Gas can only go in the Cargo hold, unless they plan on changing something. That makes it pretty near useless for Gas mining.

I think it would be nice if all of the Ore-hangar could contain gas. It could be renamed to Mining-hangar.
Currently, the mining Frig has 6.66% more gas income (for all V) than a normal gas-Harvester e.g. the Moa. At the moment you have to pull the gas every 30 sec. into a Conti. Unless that changes, I will not buy me this ship and I see no use for this otherwise.
An increase of the bonus e.g. of 5% to 7% per level, also would be great. That would make about 23% more than a Moa. The time and skill would be worth it.

Its cycle times of 30s compared to 40s no rounding required unless you cut a cycle early.
By your 4th frig cycle, you will have 320m3, by a standard x5 turret ships 3ed cycle which would end the same time as the frigs 4th would have 300m3.
By the 8th frig cycle, 640m3
the 6th normal cycle, 600m3

You probably could have answered the question by logging in and mining gas, or reading the thread about the ship itself. The thread says the gas will automatically go into the ore hold when you mine, but you can't move gas into the hold yourself. I believe they said they're working on that, but I haven't seen an update.
