Any country that is largely signified from space by a formation like Vatnajokull (sp?) has got to be a pretty odd place. Something funny is going on down there.
Someone should keep an eye on them.. hur hur.

It is a growing trend. Sadly, the majority of people have it in their heads that everything is insecure, all is suspect, and that death creeps around every cup in the cupboard.
This eventually opens the door to accepting such ridiculous police judgement and ploy.

We have the "VIKING" squad.....
But in all seriousness, Iceland actually plays an active role in reconstruction of government infrastructure in Kosovo, Afghanistan and of course Iraq, our speciality seems to get International airports up and running again.
Icelandic Coasst guard bomb squad members went to Iraq in search of WMD. And several ppl I know including my dad have gone or been offered a chance to go and help rebuilding efforts in those countries.
Btw, all of them (those that I know) have worn a military uniform and been in the chain of command of one military or another.
So yeah Iceland is actually doing something...

We shouldn be doing this tho, after the WW2 we decleared everlasting neutrality
i remember after the Icelandic goverment supported the Iraq war, a National warning came on the radio bout some afgahn trying to buy fertilezer or some Sh*tt like that....whonder why
