As a citizen of the Empires, I am truly disatisfied with the lack of any sort of action on the part of the Empires, Concord or any other government agency in regards to the most recent actions of espionage, and willful destruction of property used by Guiding Hand Social Club against UQS. Corporate Espionage is little more than a highly polished term used by thugs, hooligans and criminals to make themselves more than they seem. But the fact that the governmental bodies who supposely stand vigilant against such anti social means of ruining the hard work of its citizens within the bounds of it's borders shows just how little the empires truly care.
ISD, as a representative of the governing bodies and enforcer of its supposed rules, it demeans you that you sit silently while such ruffians can commit such atrocities and spit in the face of its victims and yet you still do nothing. And when others cry out in shock and disbelief you still go silent, proof of your cowardice and lack of any sort of willpower to enforce what is righteous and what should be condemned. I hope you understand that you lack or resolve to do anything regarding such manner, you merely encourage such malignant actions to continue.
Despite the reasons behind it, I believe we as a community, should discourage any and all actions by corp thieves, to better promote the pod community as a whole.

You're right! We need to dig out the books and legal contracts and have a trial!
I made sure to ask Wetwork if he would offer his legal services for or against the case:
"Dammit you nancy boy! You just ruined my modal volcano with your jabbering! What? Case of the century you said? Yes, I will offer my legal services to those that have the 'legal muscle'! I'll fry them all up in small claims court and take 30%. None can resist my legal fury, I will be suprised if the opposition just dosen't back down and settle out of court."

Wouldnt it just be easier to keep harassing CCP for the corp controls (which probably would have either prevented a corptheft of this magnitude entirely or severely reduced the impact) which were promised in Exodus... that little content patch that is a week or so from its 5-month birthday?

Nobody has a clue what you're talking about. Perhaps these patches you are using have contaminated your body with toxic chemicals?
Keep taking your drugs while we contact the Operatives who took the last group of troubled individuals away for Psych evaluation and rehabilitation.

I'm afraid that if ISD interfered in this particular case, it would be quite a scandal. Every espionage case prior to this would have to be re-investigated, and thats a lot of cases, many of which are probably not even documented. ISD cannot play favorites with UQS on this matter.
This is of course assuming that ISD has the resources and authority to interfere in the first place. Storming hangars in private corporate stations in search of allegedly "stolen" goods that were in fact transferred in a technically legal manner would be unacceptable to more than one party.
Pod pilots enjoy a wide range of priviledges and independence from governmental institutions and regulations. They are the elite of the interstellar community. I doubt many pod pilots share your enthusiasm on allowing a CONCORD agency to snoop through their private logs and properties due to a few cases of espionage.
This matter goes far beyond GHSC or UQS, which constitute a very small and isolated portion of the pod pilot community.

I agree with Viceroy, we don't expect special treatment. The only reason I could see for an exception is the fact that the theif himself admited and listed what he stole (all though not all-inclusively). I would like, however, to implore CCP (COCORD if you're really worried about me staying IC) to fix these long lingering corp theft issues. As I've learned this morning, it is absolutely impossible to keep anything secure while utilizing the corp wallet and corp hangars, corp rent/labs/factories/offices. Even assuming everyone is prepared for and guards against corp theft like we suffered, you still have the possiblility of trusted people (RL or not) getting a bug up their *** to rip off their corp on the way out or something. So, corp sharing and using of corp wallet/hangars/labs/etc. is being discouraged in favor of keeping everything in personal hangars/wallets. So, if this is what CCP wants, why even put those abilities in the game? If team play is what they're going for, make it more feasible.
For the record: BPO lockdown was in effect, except our thief was helping us move to a new production area, so they were unlocked for the move.
