What's the worst part about Wardecs?
Adding targets to your watch list of course. The process is incredibly painful, and if you have more than 10 pilots to add, be sure you pack a lunch, because you will be there a while...until now.
Those of you that died 10 minutes after undocking in some random part of New Eden and thought, how the heck did they get here so fast... are about to find out.
We have successfully been using a tool to support wartarget hunting, among other things, for a good while. The tool we used automates the adding of entire alliance/corps to your watch list, including tagging, standings, etc. Additionally a central site for managing the location of people your various locaters have found is also provided, further enhancing your operational tempo.
Whether you are a merc corp with a thousand targets, or at war with 1 rival corp, having everyone on your watch list so you direct locaters to the online targets, improve situational awareness of mass logons, and have an accurate threat profile determined by number of online hostiles, having a reliable watch list is a force multiplier.
Now that we have moved to lowsec, we are making this tool available to all. Please visit the below site for a quick video on how it works, and decide if it's for you from there.

i have sent isk to try this and i love the idea but i think you need more than 2 players involved to make it work, neither of them are online so my password is not activated. Usually i start the month with a postman! |

That isn't an error message built into the program :)
Did you get the message "corp/alliance could not be found" instead? You must type the corp/alliance name exactly or it won't find them To know your Enemy, you must become your Enemy.

Well not in the program, but, a window pops up outside of game titled 'war.exe' with that message.
Also the tool then freezes showing the process bar 'Fetching EVE Who Data...."
Tried it with a number of different corp/alliance names and the same happens each time.
The 'Fetching EVE Who Data.." bar stays on screen and I have to close down program & restart each time. |

I think I know what is wrong :)
Please add the program to your firewall and try right clicking the program and run as administrator. Windows UAC is usually to blame or a firewall.
The programming language doesn't know how to handle firewalls atm. I'll be getting to that. To know your Enemy, you must become your Enemy.

The program is made like that to be abel to run in the back grund. If we did noy make whit a IPG it will taker over your mouse and you will not be abel to play eve.
But think of this. I have 4 toons and none of them ore under 80 mil skil points, why will risk any of my toon by hacking any one. ccp have aprove the program and know that we are running it.
But i know that there are so many scamers in eve that all don+ªt like to trust any one any more.
the program ruuning and you can try and talk to some of the players that have poste here to see if we are running a scam.

Ah, well, I am also familiar with Long Cons...and not all eve players are smart enough with their user names and passwords to make them distinct from other sources. I'm not saying you'd necessarily abuse your program, but I simply have no reason to trust you, nor anyone who may have done co-development with the project whom I am even less familiar with.
EVE makes me cautious, as does having been hit by identity theft.
EDIT: Sacrificing security for laziness has a tendency to bite people in the ass. |

No EVE usernames or passwords are logged or stored by the program or the web elements I created. I didn't want to be responsible for peoples sensitive details like that if hackers broke into my webserver. Also this char is about to hit 100mil SP and I wouldn't dream of risking it. My alts are also 60m+ SP. A lot to risk for a little ISK <- See what I did there
I've added the "Log on to EVE Gate" more out of convenience for people usng it. You should be able to login through your Internet Explorer web browser and tick the box "Stay logged in" and you wouldn't need to use the login in the program.
Try it, I've added a link on the opening page in the program "Check if logged in" and you will be able to test :) To know your Enemy, you must become your Enemy.

If you would rather know what the program is really like, EVE mail those on the thread who are using the tool. We have had zero complaints thus far

Been using the program for a awhile now. Any support queries I have had have been dealt with promptly and the guys are open to suggestions for improvement.
We have ended up in a war with Dec Shield (don't laugh, we all will. 4th Dec wont be fixing it) and the tool has proved invaluable, it would be impossible to maintain watch lists without it.
Guys thanks for making public an awsome tool. |

Hi Cannibal.
when we start to use the first ver. of the tool we sent a copy to ccp and a small vid showing how it work. we also made a partition from a 3 account say the we there using bots.
Now can not shot you the answer that ccp sent to us. as ccp don't allow us to share a partition,
As long as the program only add one targets at a time. any only works out of game, and it dos not in any way use the eve client, the program is not a bot / marco
we did make a program that add 1000 targets in just 40 sec. that we where not allow to use. so we have gotten the program as fast as we can whit the limits that ccp has set.
I hope that helps. if not sent me a in-game mail and ill see what I can do to ex plane it better

Hi Cannibal,
I am the one with the petitions. They basically said it's fine as it's out of game and would only results in a ban if it was found to be malicious (ie. stealing peoples log ins etc) or mass mailing people etc and the ban would only apply to me for creating it.
I wouldn't risk my 100m SP char if I didn't get the all clear first. I have kept the petitions too if they did decide to ban me to use in my defense.
You yourself can see the program is not a scam or stealing your isk/login/bank account etc
CCP Quote from petition
