1.) Amongst level 3 frigates, what would be the order of most agile to least? I assume the Rifter would be the most?
2.) How useful is agility anyways? Post-patch, I find it -slightly- more difficult to hit Gurista Wreckers with 250mm rails, but they still drop like flies - close range or otherwise.
3.) Are the agility boosting items worthwhile?
4.) Is speed in any way related to agility or chances of being hit? i.e. would a Punisher with 4 overdrive injectors be more difficult to hit than one w/o?

I wouldn't worry about agility unless you have a cruiser or battleship. Even an indi turns around in notime compared to a cruiser.

Well, I'm not concerned about turnaround times. I'm more interested in how effective (or ineffective) agility is in evading incoming fire.

Only for missiles then. Incoming turret-fire is only up to whether you have a speed high enough for the other guys turrets not to track you.

If I understand how things work now speed is very important regarding how well turrets will hit you. A Rifter or any other fast ship travelling transversely should take very little damage from heavy turrets at this point.

It should work like this: For you to hit a target perfect, it's transversal speed can't be more than your trackingspeed * range. Which means, even with a trackingspeed of 0.03, you have trouble hitting a target at 5km if it's transversal speed is more than 150 m/s.
Many large guns have a trackingspeed of less than 0.01, which means that even at 20km range it becomes hard to hit a target with a transverse speed of more than 200 m/s.

Sorry to dredge this old nut but.. Agility is VERY important especially in dog-fights. For example if you decide to orbit a 5km but the ship and pilot is not agile enough to follow this orbital arc it will slow down to compensate. So you can find your multi Arc-Jet frigate gracefully drifting circles at ~100m/s, and as pointed out above the slower you get the more you get smacked.

And you see those big guns only need to hit you a few times before your dead so I think its a big deal even at that slow a tracking speed.

Also seems to affect missile accuracy, there seems to be a comparison of the missile and ships agility/speed. Quite often in a frigate the missiles launched at me would run around me in circles never actually exploding or if they did not causing any damage. Doesnt happen as often for cruisers but I have had it happen in a fast cruiser against the slowest missiles such as torpedoes / cruise missiles.

does anyone know where we can find any info on what our current agility level is ?? i can buy skills and mods to increase it, but from what to what.. shouldnt this info be in the show info for the ship, and / or in the fitting menu at stations ? perhaps im just looking in the wrong places :)
cheers
