So, I live in a C5 with a C2 static, and I've been finding myself wanting to experiment and mess around a bit with some different ships in our static. I was thinking a Retribution would be fun, and this was the fit I came up with.
[Retribution, C2WH] Small Armor Repairer II Capacitor Power Relay II Heat Sink II Thermic Plating II Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
1MN Afterburner II Cap Recharger II
Medium Pulse Laser II, Conflagration S Medium Pulse Laser II, Conflagration S Medium Pulse Laser II, Conflagration S Medium Pulse Laser II, Conflagration S [empty high slot]
Small Energy Collision Accelerator I Small Energy Collision Accelerator I
In EFT, 183 DPS, 454 alpha Resists are 60/60.5/70/84 6726 EHP with 57 repair per second. Stable at 50% 832 m/s
Is this a viable C2 fit, or is it gonna die horribly in fire? And does anyone have any advice for improvements? Oh, and yesh, there will be an off-lined probe launcher, I just didn't bother putting it into EFT yet >_>.
Oh, and it is worth noting that those numbers are calculated with Amarr Frigate IV and Assault Ships II... I'm still about a week and a half out from flying this sucker. Just messing around with fits cause I'm bored at work. |

I hate to say but you're wasting your time doing c2 in a retribution. A battle cruiser would fare far better and make you more money |

if youre after isk, it's a waste of time. if you just want to have some fun, maybe try it in a vengeance first since it gets much better tank.
for reference, you need about 200-250 tank on a BC for C2s so for a frig it would be a fair bit less.
you could even try something a bit more out of the box:
Quote:[Retribution, C2] Damage Control II Nanofiber Internal Structure II Nanofiber Internal Structure II Tracking Enhancer II Heat Sink II
Gistii B-Type 1MN Afterburner Gistii B-Type Small Shield Booster
NEW Medium Pulse Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency S NEW Medium Pulse Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency S NEW Medium Pulse Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency S NEW Medium Pulse Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency S Small Diminishing Power System Drain I
Small Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer II Small Anti-Thermal Screen Reinforcer II
192 DPS 65 Tank 1131 m/s
If worst come to worst, you can always bail since C2s dont scram.
PS: im using retribution stats on the guns. |

I'd probably change the rigs for EM and Thermal pumps just for comfort, but the fit you posted will be good for most sites if you stay mobile. If I recall correctly, the data sanctuaries have three sirius towers and they will hit you hard right when you land. After that, you should be good. If you plan on running sites with heavy neuting (for frigs), you'll get capped out quickly. Forgotten Perimeter Gateway will be tough, since it has a single neuting sleeper cruiser which also happens to be the trigger. Probably there are other examples, but the normal anoms should be possible. As stated, a BC is faster, but also has a harder time escaping ganks, plus it's not as much fun :)
Jack, I'm a bit sceptical about the buffer on your fit. Once settled into an anom, you can probably speed tank most damage, but the alpha from the sirius towers might pop your frig in one go right when you land on grid. Other than that... I think it's a very interesting fit :) |

The wolf can actually do it pretty well, though i had problems breaking the tanks of the sleeper bs's (this was before the af changes a while ago) |

Before the neuting was properly working on sleepers I know people used to do RR wolfs for C2 and even C3 sites.
With the new cruiser changes you can probably run an exequror pair with wolfs heh. |
