i have now tried training both torpedoes to lvl2 and spaceship command to lvl4, both sit on completion iminent, 1 point from the next lvl, for eternity :( i have tried waiting 20mins then switching, but all this did was make me lose the training. come on CCP! it's gonna take me months to level all the skills i need up anyway, and now some ****y bug is depriving me of what training i do. this needs fixing now, as thats 2 skill lvls that have been stolen from me :(

Did you take note of the time it took to get that skill to imminent?
I have had this happen to me while training a skill that would take over a day to complete. With 18 hours remaining it was showing completion imminent and showed the points as 1 point away from completing. My first thought was OH CHRIST not another friggin skill exploit. By selecting another skill to train it doesn't reset to where it was when you started to train it. It resets to where it should have been at that paricular time in the training run.
Going back to train that skill showed I had 18 hours left. Just make note of the skill points when you start training, I think you will see it doesnt go back to the begginning. I have seen a reset on the first level but not for quite a while.
Strange note. After restarting that skill with 18 hours left I logged off. When I logged back on it was imminent once again lol. The skill still trains ( 13 hours later I had 5 hours left to train) but indeed this has to be fixed.

no, i did take note of the starting number and thats my point. it was going up like it was supposed to, then when it reached 1 point below it just stops. it takes the correct amount of time to get there. when i chage it to another skill after a while of completion iminent, the number goes back down to what it was before i started training it. i have petitioned ingame about it, and a GM replied saying that there is an issue, and i should here from them withing 24 hours from submitting the report, whereupon they will reimburse the skills.

Dam that does suck. Hope they straighten it out for you.
I also hope they have a way to prove it or you may get hit with " sorry but there's nothing we can do as there is no way to verify what you say has actually happened."
They have to say things like this I guess or they could have wave after wave of people claiming they had skills trained and didn't get them.
