Dear lord characters with deep ideological differences having provocative discussions. Who would have thought it. And as for logging, some of us are on dial up. Which happens to fail at least 2-3 times in an evening. Which is one of the reasons I havent been doing much fighting (along with the fact I live in Australia and play mostly when not many other are online). So one incident is not grounds to claim logging. --------------------------------------------------

Meehan	Posted - 2005.04.24 11:05:00 - [27] I think, Aphoxema, that the main difference is SF are mainly character roleplayers while CVA are more 'practical', ie playing the game using the character background as motivation for how to pilot their ships and who to fight. Hence, there's alot of frustration when there's the IC slander we're seeing in the IGS now. Mainly because you cannot win a discussion against a character with the slightest bit of willpower. That's what, in my opinion, makes forum warfare pointless whereas accomplishments in the actual game can be measured. That's just the way I play the game. Cannot speak for my brethren
