I'll say before I go any further that this thread is just for fun and there's no plan to release a movie, but we were talking about casting people in the roles of EVE's political figureheads and most important characters, and who would suit the roles best. We decided that we should kick off some community discussion for fun, and assemble an all star cast for the biggest budget movie in history. So, I'll start you guys off with my opinions for the four figureheads of the empires: Jamyl Sarum - (Empress of the Amarr Empire) - Angelina Jolie Tibus Heth - (Executor of the Caldari Provincial Directorate) - Ed Harris Jacus Roden - (President of the Gallente Federation) - Gary Oldman Maleatu Shakor - (Sanmatar of the Minmatar Republic) - Morgan Freeman I now turn to you, citizens of the Out Of Pod Experience Forum! Any other important ingame political figures you want to add are awesome and can include but are not limited to: NPC Megacorp CEOs Pirate Officers Leaders of government branches Agents Famous player characters You can pitch an idea for any characters you feel are of worthwhile note in EVE Online, but please remember, you're looking for actors with a likeness to people's IN GAME avatars, not their out of game appearance. You need to link a copy of their 512x512 avatar either captured from ingame and hosted or from EVE Gate, and an image of the actor you think would suit the role, plus their name. The best ones will get added to this post, and if something better than the suggestions I put up above come to light then I'll replace my examples too. We also need a Director and Producer, feel free to suggest these too. Remember : Keep it clean, keep it civil and keep it within the forum rules. Not every race has to be a fluffy little mirror of each other, it's seriously not needed. Things like Gallente having the only drone BS and Caldari having the only ECM BS are incredibly cool distinctions that only add to EVE in both game play value and flavour.
