For some time now I have been CTD a lot. Now it's every time I jump/dock. I have reinstalled Eve but this is still going on and I am getting very ****ed off.

have you tried checking your isp. a friend kept losing his eve, checked into it and it was a problem with his isp.
there are some programs that monitor you net connection and log everytime you lose it. download 1 of them and see if thats the problem. can't remember name of any sry

Ive got roughly the same problem..
I have
Geforce 4 Ti4200 128mb 8xagp
2x256 PC4000 Kingston HyperX
Athlon 3200+
sound disabled, sound acceleration even disabled. SB Audigy Gamer I
I havent noticed any internet blips, IM conversations go fine, do you have the name of a program that might log that?

hmmm stats eh..
I have:
AMD 2Ghz sempron
ATI Radeon 9600xt
1Gb DDR 400
Windows XP Pro
Zhuge, I just tried updating my graphics card drivers to the latest catalyst drivers like you suggested, but the up to date drivers seem to be the cause of my problems  .
With the older drivers, it gives me the option in settings of turning off VDU recover, but on the latest drivers it is always on by default and there is no way to change that!
I dont particulary want to use any "other" drivers, but if it comes to that I my have to  .
Help!

yes since the last large patch I'm having this issue again. I lose connection or ctd more now. When I come back many (not all) of the people in my corp have had the same issue at the same time.
It's really tiresome but something I've just come to expect and learn to live with here. |
