In reviewing corp security measures one area has a glaring hole.
THE CORP WALLET
We can lockdown BP's in the corp hangar with a Director vote. That got me thinking why can't we 'lock down' part of the Wallet as well?
Imagine a 'savings account'. Imagine you have 2,500,000,000 in your corp wallet. Now you have 10 Directors, you trust everyone, but for all you know Istvaan could be your CEO  .
Anyway with 'Wallet Lockdown' the Directors could "vote" to secure part of the wallet so it couldn't be withdrawn without another vote. While still vulnerable it would limit the odds of a wallet theft.
So you have your 2,500,000,000. You "lockdown" 2,000,000,000 of it leaving 500,000,000 for daily operations. I recall we were supposed to have division wallets once. This might be a good alternative if that never comes.

or at least a daily limit for members to withdraw per day
notice: you have reached your daily limit for withdrawals
this could be set by the corp and customized for each corp depending on daily spending

I don't like this idea  Stop trying to limit my spending. Did my bf put you up to this.

/off topic - thats why my girlfriend hs no isk and several ships she cant fly
/on topic - cool idea, would help decrease the vunerability of corps a little, but still allow the dynamic of corp theft, they would just have to be very clever about it

lol what's funny is Mac spends more isk than I do. i have to keep limiting his daily spendage. though he does make all the isk, so i can't say much. :P

The withdrawal limit sounds like a good idea. Or maybe multiple corp accounts (I dunno if this is in or not) for different access levels?
