Because even though he did a stupid thing, and could not wait 24hr's, he is a person i have known ingame for a while. And funny enough thats worth more than anything posted by ego swinging children, who believe that posting to these forums makes them important.
Lanish may have decided to go and try the pirate life, good luck to him I say, and if he decides to come back to the light side, he's welcome.
Now go play somewhere else, and realise this is not real life but a game.

People play a game and characters in a game. Just becuase people change professions and take a different path in their game play, does not mean people they have been friends with ingame will just drop them like a stone...
Now that would be a little warp'd and sick to stop talking to people you have known along time in game just because they play the polar opposite to ourselves.

They killed 3 BS, refuse to apologize, refuse to compensate, say they have kicked the member so its ok, but will let him back in.
So if I killed 3 -OS- BS and said i was leaving 2moro, then got kicked but rejoined exo 2 days later, you guys would be fine with that?

My honest answer is i would not give a damn and here are my reaons:
(1)If i was one of the pilots that got killed i would be abit upset about it BUT i would not certainly ask for compensation from a corp that really had nothing to do with it
(2)Getting killed by pirates is part of life in 0.0 its a risk everyone takes when they step in to it, so id get over it

Oblivion Systems doesn't seem to get the point. It doesn't matter if Exo lost 1 or 100 BS.
He was one of your members at the time of the killing so you are responsible. They have given you the oppertunity to sole the issue.
I wonder if a FA spokesman has something to say about the issue.

FA made a response in the previous thread. I personally dont see why the actions of one should affect like 100 other people when the corp itself had nothing to do with it. Also from what i know (i could be wrong here) Lanish did not actually get the kills on anyone they were just apart of the ICP gank squad or whatever you want to call it, sure they got involved but it does not appear they got the final blow on anyone. If venture want compensation they should take it up with the offender i.e Lanish or ICP as -OS- itself had nothing to do with it, infact we didnt even know it was bloody going on! So i just dont see how we should be held responsible.

So 1 guy, who's due to leave a corp has an itchy trigger finger, blows up a Battleship or three and the killed guys' corps want compensation from the corp he just left? How about just going after him and blowing him up (since I guess that he won't pay compensation)? And then everyone starts beating at the offenders ex-corp alliance, assumably just because they're FA which apparently is nothing short of The Devils Reincarnate Who Eat Innocent Babies? Why is it that everyone's always looking for some ³ber-evil enemy who's behind everything that's bad and wrong? I remember it used to be CA, and I didn't understand it back then, now it seems to be FA, I still don't get it, in half a year it'll be SE .. and guess what, it still won't make sense to me.
You wouldn't believe how happy I am to not be in an alliance, of any sorts. It's sick how everything anyone says on this particular part of the forums gets twisted when it's only half way said. Too many too big egos, all that machismo, "my schlong is bigger than your schlong" ... seriously, I'm happy I can just do whatever I want to do and be the only one affected by it.
That said, I guess I won't come in here anymore, it makes me realize too clearly how many sad griefers there are in this game.

I wont go on as thats been done already but I would just like to thank QuantumX for his kind words. x
This 'situation' was due to an, unknown to me at the time, issue which meant that my Corp membership details did not change when I thought they would.
I was eager.
For the error in the Corp membership information at the time and any 'Butterfly' effects that it has had I can also only apologise.
My last would be a personal remark at how amazaed and also impressed I am at how such a small act from a single person can stir so much emotion in so many people so quick in EvE.
Still remembering that it's a game.
