What about having the female voice when hitting your warpdrive be more active even during fights to bring more realism and stress to the pilot :)
When overloading and taking damage at a certain point.
In the female voice: "Autocannons is taking damage"
When first alarm goes off for the shields for exmaple.
In the female voice: "Shields are failing"
there could be several nice features for her.
Or ?

that would be nice but im not sure im going to be able to hear it with all sounds turned off.
theres only so many times you can that your docking is requested, pretty sure if i got yelled at every time my shields were low, id go crazy :P

I'd like more voice overs too.
However, setting those requires freezing the text and then go through recording, editing and mixing of it into the game.
'Aura' isn't a computer generated voice, it's a voice actor (and a very good one) and it's neither cheap nor easy to re-record new stuff.
Even less so as EvE is presented in several languages (and I have to say that both the German and Russian Aura is a let down, they doesn't sound serious enough).

Yes but of course you shouldnt have ALL of the "prompts" with voice just some of them for critical situations I think it really could pull the feeling of its going to hell when being popped ... |

I posted similar post long time ago, you got my vote because i like this idea, meny of you peobably know game caled Mass Efect, and meny of you remember EDI... I wish we got EDI on board in EvE.
I know AI voice may be very annoying to some people during fight etc, espetialy while people need focus on some tasks, but here is soluton, distable enable AI voice - conversations, jokes etc, while people use ships, depens what people want. |

All you people wanting to change Aura's voice obviously never experienced the old Aura, before they removed most of her voice over's when they began localizing the client....
I just want my old Aura back, once I get that I can start campaigning to have Caroline Dalton rehired to do more.
