I was wandering if it's possible to get a name change. I think Space6 is a bit plain. Also the main reason is because I didn't know you could have two name like say "Space6 Something". But I was wanting it to be changed to something like 'Spitfyre Veyl' as it is better and has 2 names. |

You should've considered this when you created your character.
I will agree that having a first and last name will be 100% better than your current one. Though you'll have to start from the bottom again; or buy a character from the marketplace with a desireable name + skillset. |

You can always petition and ask, but the general rule is that you don't get name changes unless it's offensive or in other ways attempt to violate the name policy.

I really don't see why CCP doesn't support name enhancement (for plex).
Adding a title, or a surname still retains the principal of the name but would allow thoses of us who thought we got second names at level ten to enhance our original name.
After all adding a title would be quite Role Play for older characters.

A lot of folks have requested this feature over the years, but nothing yet. Back when I started playing there were no last names...  Personally I think it would be cool to have a former "alias" in character histories.

It's quite simple really:
"Only character names that are deemed as inappropriate are eligible for a possible name change. Names will not be changed for any other reason."

This subject has been brought up probably hundreds of times in the past, and thankfully ccp have not brought it in.
Your name is your reputation, to be able to effectively wipe the slate clean for a couple of plex is wrong. Everything you do has consequences.
You're the best part of a year old, but suddenly you decide that Space6 is a dodgy name?
Live with it or biomass and start again if it really bothers you that much. |

From the beginning of the game there have been alts, multiple accounts, and corp spies. There's nothing secret about names in the least bit. How many players have multiple accounts with multiple alts?... Everyone. As soon as the character transfer service came into effect the whole "name is reputation" went out of the window as now you can even sell a whole character. Most of the old toons that I was in corps with back in the day belong to completely different people now.
I call Bullshit on that one. Put an alias feature and limit the number of name changes to one per account and 'walla', fixed.
