...these forums - particularly in reference to reporting bugs and errors.
A number of us have tried bringing these issues to CCP int he "Issues, Workarounds and Localization" forum but any such threads are being studiously ignored by CCP.
So, the question is, where should these messages be posted so that someone from CCP responds? |

Bugs should be reported via the Bug Report feature. Actually publicly posting information about bugs is a bannable offense, AFAIK, though I have a feeling that CCP would only ban you if the bug were exploitable somehow.
Whether CCP actually DOES something about these bugs is another matter entirely. Long story short: you can't force CCP to respond, no matter how much you complain about it. |

It just seems more than a litle odd that every thread which doesn' raise issues about the forum have a CCp presence. |

So, the question is, where should these messages be posted so that someone from CCP responds? Bug reporting tutorial
5 first steps work only during 2-3 days after any major expansion. In most cases adding steps 6-10 are needed but will do the work. If something important has magically vanished from the game, prepare to go all the way.
1. Search your bug from issues forum and from known issues page. 2. Filing a bug report is always a good thing, even the issue would already exist in some forum thread. 3. Post to relative issues thread or create new one if old one doesn't exist. 4. Wait for CCP to take some action. 5. Post proof of concept video/image/logs to show that the bug really exists.
6. Post propaganda to general discussion and to draw more attention to the issue. 7. Keep bumping all your threads with comments like "bumping continues if morale doesn't improve", 8. Use your alts to like your own threads and bump them with comments like "I have this bug too it is horrible CCP isn't doing anything" 9. Get senior developer to test "your" bug and say "I can't reproduce this on our server" and leave it there (like with the drone bug). 10. Leave suggestion about fixing your bug as new feature to assembly hall.
11. Unsub 12. Bomb jita statue 13. Write plea to mr CSM "king of the goons" Mittani 14. Write your complaints to all major online gaming sites. 15. Enjoy the fix which is coming soonTM

Nothing wrong with pointing out an error but discussing exploits on the forums is against the forum rules and may result in an official warning or ban.
If you really want to bring it to our attention then filing a bug report is the best way to go. If you find it on the test server you can also use the Test Server Feedback forum as well.
