Sturmgrenadier Inc. (SGHQ) is an active 0.0 PVP corporation that is actively recruiting pilots in the US TZ. We also have a high security section and access to wormhole space. In 0.0 our corp specifically takes part in small gang 0.0 PVP. In 0.0 PVP comes first in SGHQ, all PVE is done outside our primetime, which there are plenty of opportunities for. In high sec SGHQ encompasses all aspects of PVE.
Sturmgrenadier Inc has operated in EVE for almost 8 years. We are a group of adult gamers who offer each other respect, teamwork, and are extremely organized in all aspects of the game.
We offer a strong logistics element allowing our players the ability to focus on playing EVE without having to worry about the availability of ships, modules, and ammunition. SG has active members involved in every aspect of the game willing to help others expand their own EVE experience.
In combat our fleet types are dependant on our fleet size. The fleet ships that we utilize are potent and serve to fill a variety of specific operational needs. Each contains a range of fittings designed to enable players of varying skill levels.
We do not have a skill point requirement for new recruits but we do ask that you have basic skills as well as the ability and willingness to learn how to fit, fly, both in PVE and PVP.
What SGHQ. has to offer you:
- Structure, experience, knowledge, organization, respect, and maturity - Access to unlimited PVP in 0.0 space - Access to 0.0 PVE - Access to WH content - Training officers who will help you understand and conquer game mechanics - New capital pilots can be approved for capital ships at discount - The ability to move up in the ranks through hard work and determination. - Ship replacement program
What we expect from our members:
- Basic skills and knowledge of the game - The ability to fly ships that fit with our fleet concepts (if you PVP) - Teamspeak registration with a working headset and microphone (if you're online you're required to be in TS) - Mature attitude with the ability to respect and work with your corpmates and the chain of command - Follow our charter - Have fun and enjoy the game
SGHQ is part of "Sturmgrenadier Gaming Syndicate" a gaming community spanning numerous games with over a decade of online gaming.
Feel free to check out our website http://eve.sghq.com/, read our charter, and chat with us in the "SGHQ-PUBLIC" channel in game for more information. We ask that you chat with us before filling out an application on our website or in game. We want to know why SG is for you, what you have to offer, and what you hope to gain from being in SG. Full API requested upon application.

I've been a member of Sturmgrenadier for almost 7 years now, and I can tell you that they're the last group you'll ever join. The only time I'm playing without SG is if I'm playing a game they aren't in. Even then, you'll often find a group of members on the SG forums who are interested in meeting up with you in other "unofficial" games. The main thing SG can offer that most other Corporations can't is the ability to expand in to other games without having to hunt for a new organization or meet new people. A couple of months ago I decided to give World of Tanks a try and all I had to do was just jump in our WoT channel and have at it. I'd never talked to most of our members there but I fell right in as if we'd been playing together for months. This translates to every portal, as the basic protocols for behavior and combat communication are all simple to learn and universally applicable to every game we play.
Even if you have no interest in other games, we bring this same versatility to the EVE universe. Once you settle in, you're welcome to stop by and play in any area we operate. If you're new, we have members who enjoy teaching people to play as much as they enjoy actually playing. If you're a veteran, you'll fit right in with the encyclopedic knowledge of the game that I find in all of our veteran members. Casual players will have no problem finding activity that they can work into their schedule, and hardcore players will always have something to do.
I would strongly recommend SGHQ for newer EVE pilots, primarily because that is where most SG members end up getting their start if they decide to try EVE out. SG is already well designed for teaching new players the fundamentals and helping them advance their careers in whatever field. Every aspect of empire play is supported to the fullest. You won't find anything that's nearly complete or in progress. It's all already fully realized. We also provide a variety of long-term options for members to explore, such as low/null PVP and wormhole space.
The most interesting thing about SG, to me, is the ability of every member to transition seamlessly from casual play to disciplined teamwork. I've been in many situations where everyone knows what to do and it's just idle chitchat, then something unexpected happens and instantly there are clear commands being issued to a silent audience who are all reacting quickly and efficiently. We had a can flipper try to crash a mining op, and within minutes there were combat ships in system and not even our brand new members took the bait. We had a ship join a PVP op late and get caught by a fleet on his way to us, and he was rescued before hitting structure. We had a newer pilot failfit his BC and catch all the aggro in a L4 mission, and DPS was focused to clear the field before he lost his ship. |

Nice fight out in Wicked Creek tonight. We had NC. 2 jumps away in Curse with the usual 120+ trying to be cool in NPC 0.0 again and Flying Dangerous doing who knows what the other direction. One of our guys probed down a 0.0 to 0.0 WH which game out in Wicked Creek so we went and found us a fight.
Goodfights had by all, grabbed a few other kills on the way home and called it an early night. |

That night was nice we decided to take out the new destroyers and the newly designed frigs cruiser.
It seemed like we were only in system for maybe 5 mins and all of the sudden we had targets coming out of the wood work. Only reason we head back home was cause we were full of loot. On the way back we ended up getting a naga and cane.
The night ended up with us losing two new destroyers and killing over a billion isk worth of ships and on top of that all of the loot.
We have good nights like this quite often. You should come check us out. We do over way more than small gang pvp and are very open to new and old players the same.
