I've hesitated long enough in releasing these. Origionally made them for my personal use, then for my corp, but now I think it's time everyone had a chance to use these.
Most are pre-exodus. Depending on how much you like them, I'll probobly make more.
All images are 1600x1200, where taken with 4x Anti-Aliasing or more, 16x Anistropic Filtering, and use the lowest ammount of compression possible, so the images look as crisp as they can with the JPEG format. This also makes them all quite large (about 500-700kb), so expect long downloads. But believe me it's worth it, these images are top-quality. Enjoy!

most are taken with my old GeForce 4 ti4600. Which ran at about 2 FPS while i 'posed' the ships. of course, for still shots FPS doesent mean anything.
However, some of the newer shots are done with my new card, GeForce 6600GT. Those ones have 8xS Anti-Aliasing and alot more graphical features turned on. Also, those are the ones that where taken after Exodus.

although i have to say that the *hint* underrepresentation of the formidable gallentean ship line *hint* might be something you may want to look into.

yeah i knew somone would bring that up, should have mentioned it before - i know, i dont normally fly gallente ships, though i CAN fly them.
as i said - i origionally made these for myself - AKA i made desktops of ships i was flying when i made them.
I'll work on making some gallente ones :P

I would suggest a border or something other than just the screeny with some other stuff pasted on. You could do a grey border, like the eve site grey. Be a bit more creative!

I meant it looks nicer without the turrets on actually, still using one of those backrounds now though

My only advice would be to do something more exciting with the faction and ship class wording. White's a little bland by itself and kinda stands out unnecessarily. Maybe grey, or some beveling or edge work?
Just a suggestion. They still look great.

yes, all good suggestions.
i've got a good eye for design, implementation is a bit different, i'm still learning how to use graphic design programs more effectively. there are alot of features that i'm sure i could utilize.
right now i'm actualyl really busy with some alliance related stuff - so i may not make any new desktops real soon - we'll see. i'll try to spice them up though.

Thank you and I agree, I suppose I never really considered that, I have a lot of the original BMP's, so I may go back and make blank ones with just the logo.

Ok, I've taken some of the suggestions here and made a new Apocalypse Desktop - I think itĘs quite nice :D
More to come, sorry for the recycled image, I was mostly experimenting.
