I've taken a gang of VNIs vesus SFIs and we held the field. Sadly, everyone and their mom flies nano so it's rare I get to use these ships. Unfortunately, with most offensive plexers 50km off the warpin of a plex, it's rare to get a fight since they're typically shield range fit. Shield Exequror Navy issue is ideal to catch them but they would have to derp pretty hard for that to happen. And those KM are obviously being used as demonstration to younger militia members on the lack of skills required to die in one. I don't fly amarr simply because I'm trained as minmatar. That's very close to changing mind you.. tech 2 lasorz here I came :) I've decided to make the navy omen and slicer work for me since I can buy them so cheaply :D

It packs a hell of a punch : over 900DPS overloaded with Void M and just short of 800DPS with Null M. The tank itself is decent : around 32K EHP. If you can get a good warp in, it just melts your opponent in seconds

I am currently going through a rust phase where I am flying minnie ships almost exclusively and using LP for amar navy ships to sell for isk to fund my habit...but I'm less likely to 'buy' a navy ship if I have to pay isk for it. I remember at one time the slicer was one of the most feared frigs in game.....seems not so much now. Having said that I have no fear of any ship.....probably something I need to work on perhaps?? CNI was always slower than regular caracal anyway but with upcoming changes, they are more or less equal. CNI has more fitting room, more base shields and extra high-slot for 6th launcher or utility (medium neut works well here against silly tanks boosted by OGB) while regular one will be faster kiting boat with more speed and dps and higher cap recharge (but less base cap). Poor Osprey Navy Issue though....having just finded it's niche, it gets thrown back to dustbin since it's base speed is now less than vanilla caracals. It's platform as support boat is probably taken over by CNI until such time that these cruisers get their own designated buff. CCP, some love for the ONI please. I except nothing less than base speed of 300m/s when it gets reborn As for hookbill, it has always been and will always be awesome sauce. Killed three thrashers with it yesterday, along with incursus/tormentor pair. Only way for it to be more awesome would be if it came with old Kaalakiota black paint scheme and was on fire (and had t.ts, along with utility high-slot)
