Hi
I'm proud to announce the artwork of one of my members. It's his second big project (the first was a recruitement video for the german community that's why it wasn't promoted here) and we think he is a new big talent in the making of videos in EVE.
The video tells the story about the war between the northern citizens and FoE including the reason why it had started.

We would like to thank FoE, PA, I.R.O.N. and G. Without those the video wasn't possible. I also would like to mention KIA Corp who fought against FoE ... mostly in empire. That's why we haven't got them in the video. Besides from intel and status reports we were in our own fleets. FoE had a hard time and where nowhere safe. But they came and fight!
A big thanks goes to eve-files.com, keep up the good work.
Please keep the thread clean of flames and trolls as the video also uses roleplaying elements. Enjoy it and don't forget: EVE is a game ... a great one.

nice movie, but u missed out the bit where ur 80 man blob comes to tribute and gets beaten down :P that was before pa came into the war ;)

That movie had everything you want in an eve movie. Nice music, good fottage, nice story and most important of all lots of action. Don't think i have anything bad to say about the movie at all, good job.

Very, very nice. A couple things though. We never had 1600 people. You guys lost a few battles when it was only FoE vs. G... you never showed that. You also didn't show anything from near the end of the war when a merc/FoE force came and took D7. Another thing you might want to do is have someone spell/grammar check your video just for the professional thouch. Either way, very well made.

Eve Files usually doesnt works for me. Downloads stop in the middle etc ... , and its not about my connection, thats 1.5Mbit.

Great vid and thanks to all og [G] and IRON for being such friends :)
Love the story love the music but when many players are recording "frapsing" its better that all of you use the same setting, like then the fraps of taranis when you warped up close to some small group of FOE that was very blurry and too like zoomed in on the middle.
not that im an expert or anything just a pointer :)
Great vid. allways love working with you guys.

thats cause they left after 20 mins and the station was just retaken.... a bit inconsquensial. no real LARGE battle took place between the Massive combined fleet and a northern fleet. at least thats why i assume its not in there. and yes it was a big fleet i was sitting outside station in covert ops...... what was it 60 bs's?

Very nice video, painted what happened very clearly. Tbh after the first 4 mins i had to pause it and thing "Hmm...wtf were the FoE leadership up to". We made a lot of mistakes, and underestimating our enemies, especially combined.
Once again very nice vid and well fought lads :)

Excellent work!
This brings a morsel of EVE history to those who fought in it, but also more importantly, to the thousands that didn't.
Now, having established that this is a work which you can be very proud of, lets see how you can get even better 
Tip #1:
You spend a lot of time choosing soundtrack, editing and selecting fraps footage. Next time also spend a bit more time on the dialogue in the movie. Get someone to proofread the text (or the movie when all text is ready for it in the final stages) to erase the spelling and grammar errors and make it even more professional looking.
Tip #2:
Don't spare the dialogue! First parts explain what is happening and why. The latter half of the movie is some nice footage of battles but we don't know where it's happening, what are the forces strengths who are clashing and so on. Without those small details the video loses a bit of story and is more of "footage of assorted battles".
