Have re-started my account after over a year away. was given around 20 mil isk by some friends :)
flying around going to my old stations that had a few bit's n bobs left in them, lost 2 cruisers! down to 2 mil isk left now. not even enough for a cruiser. doh!
Certainly a lot more players online since i suspended my account. i think it topped 5000 then. seems most of the 0.3 systems or below have people in them nowadays.
despite the major set backs, i'm enjoying re-learning the game :)

dude i think your lucky you account was still on there database, thought it only laststed a year, anywho withth amont of patchs and stuff some data bound to be lost, shame its 2 of your cruisers lol, good luck

i didn't lose them coming back to the game. I forgot to say, i lost them by being killed then pod killed by pirates. once in 0.0 space, my own stupid fault. the other in 0.3 space.
Have bought a hoarder and a cormorant, it's all i could afford to buy and be able to equip them, although not very well. need to train up a few skills me thinks.

he he. no worries. Went down to 500,000 isk after buying new stuff, but i'm back up to 1 mil isk now after some small trading runs. will keep doing this and agent missions till i have enough to buy back a cruiser. will have to research in best fitting of my ships, my blackbird was equiped with Warp Core Stabilizer, shield, mwd and a Multispectral Jammer, but he dropped some smartbombs and wiped me out

Erm...I guess you forgot to insure your ship, didn't you?
Otherwise you wouldn't have lost more than, let's say, 5 millions (modules excepted, oc).
And yes...Their are far moer peeps than in the beginning of Eve in < 0.3 systems.
Mostly because people are now less scared about travelling, because insurance helps a lot, and also because a lot of corporation are self-sufficient for tech I ships (at least frigate and cruisers), therefore loosing a ship doesn't really hurt your wallet (provided you insure your ships).

i had 50% insurance on the blackbird, but non on the other :( got a mil isk back. 
that'll teach me. what better way to learn than the hard way, eh!
