Firstly, I apologize for being an ass about everything in public. But sensationalism sells well for publicity, and people expect me to be the bad guy. Right now I'm holding the "RvB - Red Federation" name for such publicity reasons. I also apologize for trapping you guys in a huge number of wars, but RvB has added a huge amount of credibility to our cause through mass numbers.

RvB offers a very valuable service to Eve, and has drawn in many new players and exposed them to mass pvp content at the entry level. It's player organizations like yours that keeps players in the game, and I applaud you for it. RvB must survive. I will give you back the alliance name and you can reform. No cost, no frills, no gimicks. BUT, I want to wait and see what the GMs say to your petition to restore the name first.

Half of everything we do is just to test the limits of what we can get away with in Eve, and this is one of those cases. I want to see if the GMs will uphold the sandbox and let us keep the name first. If they say they can't help you I'll return the name. If they revert the name to your control, same outcome (make sure if they restore the name that you get them to scramble our corp ticker as well - they didn't do that for RvB-P when they name changed them).

That being said, I don't believe that CCP have fixed the wardec exploits. I believe I have methods to continue to hold everyone hostage for the indefinite future:

If the wardec loopholes are not closed then Red Federation will be unable to join an alliance regardless (but at least you'll have the name). We will see if they managed to fix wars the 3rd time around here. I just thought I should give you the heads up. And if Dec Shield is still in business post-expansion, you're of course welcome to any of our wars you desire :P

Thats all well and good, but you were an ass in public. Dont expect us to be all "teehee"

We didnt mind the war decs. The worst thing about it was clearing off our notifications....hourly.

Regardless, we are back to nomal(ish).
