Greetings.
I just tried to look up an agent to work for.
Lets say I'd like to work for the Blood Raiders. Now my faction rating with them is at -3.32 so of course no way in hell I'll be getting an agent.
But the actual corp I do have 0.58 with, and still a lvl 1 agent with q -12 says my standing is way too low.
This has me a bit confused, any feedback/help would be highly appriciated...

I believe there a few corps within the blood raider faction with similar names. If you are at the correct one's agent, with 0.58 standing you should be able to us. The game takes your highest standing between corp and faction and uses it. |

this is normal as your faction standing is way to low and the agents take faction standing into account as well for example i have 6.65 standing with gallente federation this means i can use any agent for any corp as long as its lvl4 Q 13 or below.
now you can get your standing straight a bit with blood raiders by training diplomacy up high if you dont have it already or do missions for a corp that has realy high standings with em. if that -3.32 standing is with diplomacy already aplied you are in big trouble. and it will take you a long time to get the agents you want as you will have to do missions for friendly corps. gl on getting the agent you wanted

I know a high faction standing allows you to use any corp within that faction. Been doing mission a while...he he
But does a high negative faction standing override positive corpstanding?
After all, I have 0.58 standing with the blood raider corp (only one corp in that faction.) and that should allow me to use a lvl 1 q -12 agent.
Yet it states in info: "Your standing is way too low to use this agent".
I thought it was possible to use agents if you had enough standings towards any of the following: Faction Corp Agent

Agent
Faction standing can be considered your governmental standing and most important of all standings.
And yes it overides any corp standing within that faction.
For a corp to not listen to their higher ups doesn't make sense.
That be like me telling my boss, your paying me today but I'm gonna go do a side job.
Or from my bosses point of veiw telling the state, ya I know that's illegal business practice but I'm doing it anyways.

Try the "Criminal Connections" skill, if you don't already have. Should boost your standing up far enough to start. -------------

ItĘs not pirating! ItĘs non-consensual target practice.

actually I think both standings add in some way, since even with 8.5 standing to amarr empire I can get amarr agents to dislike me enough to not give me missions

Tried Criminal Connections, but reckon it only works if u got positive standings, since trainnig it didn't do anything really. Reckon it's what Diplomacy is for...
Ah well, reckon I won't be working for the blood-raiders then....
