So as many of you may or may not be aware. The 6th of May is Eve's 2nd 'Full Release' birthday.
Last year an event was spawned from the distribution of some poor souls body parts. Many of which are still in circulation  . So I was wondering if CCP had anything similar planned for this year, any chance of something like a new ore/mineral, or even something else unique?
Any suggestions post below, or if Keiron, Oveur or a Dev has any 'Insider' info they want to divulge that would be great

I really hope the events this time round are soething to make you go "WOW!"
The Jovian arc last year was pretty crappy since it fizzled out fairly quickly.

Is it really a year since I got that complex fullerene? Still not found a use for it.

A jove exploded and parts of his/her personna where strewn accross known space into peoples hangers.
Basically an industrial accident occured with jove jump drive technology, which is expectable as at the speed of light one is everywhere at the same time.
Anyway the event was "interesting" and it was how cloaking devices where released initially.

Jove camed to empire and were testing a new device like jump drives or teleportation, the test went wrong and the ship imploded and vanished.
Thiny little pieces appeared in the hangar of all active players in EVE. A body part beloging to the jove commander and a Fullener Shard (advanced jove ship material).
Then the Jove asked all Races to make an esfort to return all body pieces to them so they could glue them with "Jove Super Glue" and try to save the commander.
The race that gathered more pieces was the Caldari, and the RP Players on that event got a limited Cloaking Device BPC (non existant at the time), and the Caldari got a huge boost in standing with Jove Empire (although this was promissed nothing really happen with the standing).
Some people are still collecting Fullerene Shards because they hope they will be of some use in future (yeah... right  )

If you guys paid attention to the game news then you'd suspect it would have something to do with the recent reports of marauders and other strange happenings around eve...
If you look around the trees you may actually see the forest.

I certainly hope this is leading upto something - could be quiet impressive but I suppose only time will tell (Well sometime just after DT on the 6th I guess )

There is going to be another anniversary event, but it is so secret that I haven't even been informed of what it is. I do know of something that is going to be added to the EVE Store in commemoration of the Anniversary and it is going to be a very limited edition item. Keep an eye on this forum and the News Center for further information.

Skarsnik, how'd you guess?
Disco, only to someone that can accept an A+ donor. I don't think anyone would be interested in my liver. After a couple trips to Iceland, I don't think it's in decent shape.

The Devs returned on Monday and went back to work on Tuesday. From the after-action reports I have received, a good time was had by all.
