IGÇÖm sure that every Capsuleer who frequents the Intergalactic Summit and is reading this statement is no stranger to the events that occurred in Evaulon on November 29th. For the first time in our operational history, Combined Harvest ceased all business activities on Friday November 30th, and did not open trade in a bid to devote every unit of manpower possible toward beginning a relief effort for the City of Rilnais.
For decades now, Combined Harvest has been the leading power in agricultural development in the Federation. We have always practiced good business ethics and strived to make the lives of our extremely diverse roster of employees as enjoyable and fulfilling as possible. Many of our employees are second, or even third generation members of a core group that is more of a family than a workforce.
The Combined Harvest Board of Directors is both shocked and horrified at the blatant attack made on our personnel. We also find ourselves disgusted that the Serpentis Corporation would seek to not only raid a peaceful settlement for profit, but to then systematically and sadistically target civilian infrastructure and residential areas.
The statistics speak for themselves:
At the last Local Governmental census in July, the population of the City of Rilnais stood at 364,219 citizens. The death toll after Thursday eveningGÇÖs attack stands at 271,806. A further 62,144 are reported to have sustained life threatening injuries, most of whom are now currently in a stable condition.
On hearing of the attack, after the deployment of Federation Navy and Federal Military forces in response, the Senate immediately began co-operating with the Combined Harvest crisis management division, and dispatched FERO (Federal Emergency Response Office) personnel to Evaulon VII.
The rescue operation has begun, however the sheer scale of devastation is something that the Federation has not seen for over a century.
Trade re-opened for Combined Harvest this morning, however our efforts still remain focused on tending to those left both physically and mentally injured by the attack, as well as those left alone after the loss of loved ones and family members.
In response to this, Combined Harvest has initiated the Avechomon Foundation, named in honor of the late Roella Avechomon, Combined Harvest Operations Director for the City of Rilnais Isirus Hydroponics Plantation.
From what we can gather from patchy communications records, Miss Avechomon displayed exemplary bravery, rushing to the communications uplink center through a hail of orbital fire in an attempt to raise the alarm and uplink a distress call to Tripwire forces that sadly was never broadcast.
In her honor, and in honor of the memory of all those lost or injured we announce the Avechomon Foundation, through which Capsuleers loyal to the Gallente Federation, or those whom simply wish to show support for the people of Rilnais can donate to the relief effort.
While we would never be so crass as to request donations in the form of Kredits, useful commodities that are vital for the relief effort would be much appreciated and put to good use in stabilizing the situation on Evaulon VII.
Given the scale of the disaster, we currently have extreme need for the following equipment and supplies that our partners at the FERO simply cannot deliver in large enough volume in these early stages of the rescue effort:
Antibiotics Biofuels Dairy Products Frozen Food Hazmat Detection Systems Hydrogen Batteries Oxygen Robotics Smartfab Units Vaccines Water Wheat
Any capsuleers willing to donate, may do so by delivering goods to our forward operating base in Stacmon X GÇô Moon 1 GÇô Federal Administration Bureau Offices and assigning them to myself via SCC Contract.
I am also available for comments and questions should there be any queries.
Thank you for your kind attention,
Anderes Duellene Chief Operating Officer Avechomon Foundation Combined Harvest Crisis Management Division |

Dude you knew this was coming. Why didn't you send in security forces before hand?
Ugh...anyway, how much of this stuff do you need? I can have it there in like...7-8 hours? Gimme some numbers and I'll do what I can.
But seriously....next time..ships, lots of ships. Bring them.
With guns. Lots of guns.

I think he meant devastation where there's any hope of delivering humanitarian aid. Reschard and Seyllin aren't really comparable. An in-character blog and a video: http://verinsjournal.blogspot.com http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tu1mbsgo738

I did not come here for a debate regarding statistics, pilot.
My statement was based purely on number of lives lost, and accessibility to provide aid.
Perhaps you will take the time to think before you broadcast in future.

I have just sent out a mail via FCORD's mailing list asking for donations. Hopefully we'll get lots of responses.
I've also offered to organise transport for any items to Stacmon from any connected highsec system, an offer I extend to the general public. If you wish to take advantage of this offer, just contract the items to me: I'll organise transport and make sure that the items are credited to you. http://www.dust514.org - the unofficial forum for everything DUST 514 http://www.dust514base.com - the blog site with everything else DUST 514 you need

While I have absolutely no love for the federation by any stretch of the imagination, I do understand the gravity of the situation and find civilian death as tragic, no matter who the people are.
I would like to offer a donation of supplies but am flagged hostile to the Gallente military and could no make such a delivery without being shot at... How large of a shipment would it to be considered worth while making a trip out to Empire space for a pickup? |

RTSS is willing to provide free transportation of the donation part or all of the way to Evaulon depending on the size of the cargo. SANKOFA |

*sigh* For obvious history reasons I likely should keep looking for other offers.
But it would be wrong of me to put pride before helping those people. I have ~10km of supplies, mostly food...As well as a few creature comforts to help keep moral up. Currently it is stored in Amarr. |

I would like to echo the kind offer of Msr. Manwe Todako of RTSS to transport supplies for those unable, or restrained by political circumstances.
Please feel free to contact me with specifics.

I would advise less antibiotics in your next supply run. considering there is only 60k survivors reported, 2kg per person does mean they will be perfectly set for medical supplies for years to come. I don't mean to mock you, your donation is rather generous and will no doubt be helpful.
I suggest some coordination between donors otherwise they may have all the medicine and food they could ever need, but die from thrust.
I have (In Amarr at the moment):
~ 800Kg of frozen foods, or about 120Kg of food per person. Should last them months provided they dont mind the same stuff. I would sugest someone provide food with a different nutritional value.
In addition I have modest amount of luxuries to assure than they will have good moral. |

I appreciate the assistance greatly.
Looks like there will be no shortage of medicine or food. I believe that supplies of water and home building materials are of utmost importance at this moment. I would suggest any further relief efforts to provide these supplies. |

I think I can go one better. I'm currently tracking all items being donated via my organisation, and I could quite easily extend that to track items from others. Looking at declared assistance provided the following is a list of materials that the relief effort requires:
Biofuels Hazmat Detection Systems Hydrogen Batteries Robotics Smartfab Units Water
Stuff we have more than enough of: We have enough food to last the survivors at least a month and would no longer be considered critical. We have enough medicine to remove all traces of disease for the entire system.
Stuff we have... but more doesn't hurt: We have some water, but considering the vital nature of this resource I couldn't imagine we could ever have excess.
Critical needs: We critically lack shelter and rebuilding supplies. These are resources I cannot contribute due to the potential military nature of energy sources and building materials. Batteries, robotics, smartfab units, and biofuels are none the less essential for rebuilding these peoples lives. We also critically lack hazmat detection systems, a vital tool to keep rescue workers safe. Not many are required I would imagine, but there is an obvious need still.
Provided my understanding of the situation is correct, the supplies the community has mustered should be enough to meet all the life support needs of the outpost. Now it would seem the pressing needs are that of the rebuilding effort.
Addendum edited in:
I should note that I am in no way in charge of the situation on the ground and this information is conjecture biased on what is stated here. Since I do not have any 'boots on the ground' as it where, I cannot verify that any deliveries that have been stated have, in fact, arrived. It would be appreciated if the Avechomon Foundation could provide more information as the the current situation on the ground, the aid that has arrived, and what supplies are actually required.

I currently have a large shipment (36, 483) of Hydrogen batteries, so that should be taken care of for now. I think Robotics, Smartfab units, (though I believe that Seriphyn Inhonores is starting large scale production of them), Biofuels and Hazmat Detection systems should be the focus of remaining deliveries. http://www.dust514.org - the unofficial forum for everything DUST 514 http://www.dust514base.com - the blog site with everything else DUST 514 you need

Food, water, and medicine are pretty easy to calculate how much we need. If there are 60,000 people alive, then stocking roughly 100kg each should be more than enough food for a while... tools like the hazmat devices are much harder to quantify the amount required. I am sure the Avechomon foundation will let us know how many units are required though
