Would like to commend FIX for the best fleet fights we've had in weeks. Special thanks to Wraithstorm for agreeing to speak with me and subsequently getting the fights organized. FIX stuck by their word, there was a mutual trust and respect on both parties as we kept our word on vacating the system to allow for increased enemy numbers, and they stuck by theirs by keeping the numbers even. Much fun, thanks for a fine evening!

I love those
It was an arranged fight we agreed we let them jump in and warp out to a ss to orangise whilst we camped the gate at about 100km away
They warped in we had it out
Then we did roughly the same again for a second round at around about 60-80km
I only managed to get this screenie of the battle (shame i couldnt take more but was too focussed on trying to kill stuff) ---------------

Edited by: PhasmaNL on 05/05/2005 01:32:28 I'm gonna be honest, I didn't think I would be posting something like this anytime soon, BUT respect to you guys as well for the way everyone was acting tonight.
It really was a lot of fun, clean on both sides, practically no smack, respect from both sides, and a good agreement on getting both sides leveled out.
At first I was ****ed at the first part of your fleet logging in the pipe, and I don't approve of it, but I admit you were (greatly?) outnumbered at that time. (Just waiting on SS would be better imo.) When later on the rest of your guys came into the pipe and everyone logged back we got to the good stuff.
Great evening.
P.S. Our killmail approver didn't yet publish the mails on the FIX Killboard (he's away, will be on l8r) but I think it's fair to say you also had a nice win.

Ffs rex, thats not needed.
MAJOR props to FIX for the warpin the second time. That took HUGE, HUGE balls.
Battle went like this: We jump into 9cg, fix waiting 100km away, some shots exchanged, we kill 1 bs, they safespot due to less numbers. After some convoing back and form between lung and wraith, we agree to move back 1 system so they can get more BS out of the station. They do so, and come for us. The deal was they get to jump in, warp to a safespot, and then warp in on us. After a long time of them at their safespot manuevering covert ops, they warped in. Numbers were roughly 50[ 5]v55 FIX. Their short range and support warped on about 20km off our fleet, their long range warped in around 80-100 km off. We promply decimated their support and short range ravens and megas, forcing them to warp out. Losses were about 5 BS + numerous support for FIX in this first engagement. [5] began to pick up loot, when all of a sudden FIX warped back in at uberclose range. Thol luckily was prepared for this and warped the fleet out, then back in. FIX had warped out by now, but then warped in again, 50km or so off. A slugfest occured, with FIX losing 5 more BS before warping out. Unfortunatly 2 BS were unable to warp out as they were caught in the grips of my uber Incursus .
HUGE props to FIX for that 2nd warpin, after losing a lot in the first fight.
My incursus somehow survived with 150 structure, and i finished with 5 BS and 2 BC kills . I only had to warp out 4 times \o/.

To be honest i think FIX suck. They NEVER fight, ALWAYS smacktalk, ALWAYS lose and are plain arrogant.
(I don't have to tell anyone that was sarcasm right?)
In all honesty, it is kinda annoying to fight them, since i have no real reason to hate them. They dont smack, are decent fighters, always give you a fight, and they didn't shoot our hauler when NAPed either. :|
Good fun, from what i can tell. And apparently a corpmate FRAPSed it, so im eagerly awaiting that.

Yeah we lost quite heavily due to a mishap with the warp in ranges, and yes I was there till 1AM :P I wasn't gonna leave the fleet without my uber1337 skillz :D I even finished the night in once piece, despite going afk at a safe spot and come back to find the FIX fleet gone and the [5] fleet in its place, who didn't seem to like the look of me :( ____________________________

Thats actually exactly how it went down. We lost 0 BS in the 2 battles, I think ben lost one trying to come down to the fight solo from a2 and got ganked. We lost support of course, but you can't measure a fight by support losses.

Respect is earned on the battlefield. I think FIX and FIVE just got little more respect for each other then they had before, but to be honest, we had respect for FIX already. Why? Because they fight. Win or lose, they fight for what they believe in. CanĘt ask for anything more then that.
P.S. of course I missed that one again. Maybe we can schedule something like this again soon?

It was a fight with no smack at all from either side. It was a great thing to witness the honor and courtesy extended on your behalf throughout this battle to FIX and I was happy to see it returned.
I do not judge Alliances or entities from what i read on the forums but how they operate on the battlefield, as this is when warriors show their true colors. The engagement goes to you. Good fight, and respect.
