Being a buyer of mineral; the prices have been steadily raising as many of you noticed there was a rush in the market hubs prior to today's patch, but the real question will be how will patch affect demand for the first quarter of next year.
Trit, Pyrerite and Mexallon have been steady for the last quarter while Isogen, Megacyte, Nocxium, Zydrine and Morphite have been on the raise, will the prices continue to go up due to the speculations or will the prices go down? |

I don't usually put time in fundamentals analysis (luckily my trading does not need any of that) but I can tell you one little tip.
It's days if not weeks that the minerals belt are completely stripped sometimes before USA prime time including forgotten places like Interbus domain and similar and including station-less systems.
I also noticed that this happens despite CCP are respawning roids every day (vs every 2-3 days we had).
Your problem is exactly what Block Ukx Futures would solve: to get low price minerals during these high demand times.
Needless to say, the dumb MD playerbase will keep ignoring all the endless opportunities such initiative could bring.

With a downtime spawn fix there will be much less convoys that drops 75 mil of trit or so. |

every expansion that either improves certain things(ships) or even introduces new things that naturally require minerals to build causes higher prices based on the higher demand...
tl;dr
minerals prices are usually going up on patch releases and drop till new patches are announced...
