I remember SPVD bbq'd my brand new rifter somewhere in the north about 2 weeks after starting eve. I was a typical hatefilled newb, and convod Trap (I think) or Drunken and ask him why he blew up my new ship  God those were fun times :)

Also TTI used to be the most hated corp in EVE right at the start of EVE they seemed huge and ebil.

This is a thread about corps we want remembered not ones we try to forget.
Also add in next to THEMM, Galactic Spanning Corp.
Not many people ever heard of them but some old FE guys started out there and this corp contributed in a small way to many many big events in Eve history.Most of GSC went on to attain some high positions in The Merchant Marines (despite having their power undermined frequently) and were a great learning experience.

Hmm a couple.
Firstly, I dimly recall Corp 1 rampaging around the 0.0 entrance out of Derelik region alongside a corp called Sisters. Used to send my poor Omen running with their early shield tanked Apocs.
M3G4, now back, but for a while the scariest people I saw on a regular basis down around the southern end of Amarr space.
Claim to fame on my first character (long deleted) - I've seen Tank CEO mine.
Oh, and one niggling memory - I swear that back in the first couple of months of EVE the ATUK description indicated it was a subsidiary of British Space Corporation.

Nice to see people remember the Peoples Front of Minmatar, which btw is still going under the renewed leadership of Viqer Fell.
and the Minmatar RP corp in CA was Oracle. TPFM joined for a *very* short time, but Oracle were there for much longer.
99% of the members of Oracle and TPFM are now the Masuat'aa Matari, part of the Ushra'Khan.
and I remeber Critical Mass - merged with someone in beta to become a powerhouse in release, I was a director for a while prior the merger (character was Vicomt back then). I left before release to form my own corp.
Sinister were all powerful at one stage, shollos handed me my first major loss.... an indy full of loot and minerals from the outer ring.

I don't recall Jash being a member of Oracle, he had his own group, Light something LLC if I recall correctly.
Novatech is one group which had offices everywhere but dropped off the face of the worlds.

Krath Imperium - Part of the old CTB that fought against TTi and friends during beta
Oracle - back when freedom fighting was noble and non-terrorist-ized
TAOSP - Evolution before Evolution, source of Molle and frst
INO - suffered the same fate as the EVE Guardian, people don't like bad press
Now here are some nobody has mentioned...
Black Storm Inc. - I miss FireFox, and his was the corp that came out with those two original eve music samples, both with I happily have, damn good stuff.
Das Paragon - honestly the only Gallente RP corporation that was ever created and sustained successfully for any period of time. Part of one of the best fanfiction stories ever told, the Unquiet Void.
Xtinction - the first band of RP pirates, their trademark was scorching "X" on a can dropped from the victim. Really creepy, but sadly missed.
Pheonix Rising Inc. - When Endless fractured, many ex-EC joined MacAllen and a few higher officers to make the best Caldari RP business following Caldari Prime Fiction to the letter and then some. Worked well for awhile, sadly dissappeared. Featured in the third best story ever half-told, "Love Can Set You Free", which can be found near the bottom of the eve library forum.

Theres only one Corp that stands out from the rest (even m0o), the Corp that started out has a 2 pilot Corp. that owned most 5 pilot gangs and Made 20 pilot fleets look stupid when they destroyed 4 or 5 of there pilots and still managed to get away!
If you were ever lucky enough to meet them i'm sure you would have known about there Insurance Policy

Hehe, The Gang got mentioned a couple of times already, but they definately deserve to be on this list. The one member that stands out in my memory from The Gang would have to be Gauss.
MUC also deserves a mention I figure, old school CFS, their former members can now be found strewn across the universe.

Jexter and Fist are the best tag team in Eve. They made an old corp mate of mine eject and surrender his Armor tanked Apoc to two Scorps. The fear they instill is awesome if you have ever heard of them. They do with two people what took m0o 20 to do.

I remember Spectral Armada, Morpheus etc.
He went all power hungry and tried to take over the VA in the very beginging, and was then kicked. They used to fly with m0o early on at the blockades. When we had a nap with m0o thats were we got to meet SA, who we later worked with up in venal.

hmm seems i remeber way back when that their was a pirate corp by aring that was called "polly want a *****er" they were fun back then and i think eve marshall's are still around but back in the day around derelik in TLS and Corp1 we were always chasing those guys around looking for a fight.
