So now that the expansion is here and all the speculation has either gone one way or the other... How did you make your isk this patch? :)
I havent been able to log in yet, at work, so im hoping my speculation went the right way and made me tons of isk. :D |

funny coincident, I invested also a lot of money and I am also hoping that it went the right way...
Not that im too curious about what u spend ur money in, but im wondering wich niche you found that will cash out your profits right after patch has been deployed

I know the BPO's for some of the Cruisers went up 250% as of today. Arbitrator BPO 32 mill to 80 mill.
It won't be hard to undercut the seed and still double your ISK but I don't know how many people saw it and bought hundreds of them. |

Still hoping to get a ration of 1 isk spent to 2 - 3 earned.
Lets see how the sells will do in the next day,weeks
But even when the plan dont work, bail out plan is 1 isk spent 1,6 isk earned. So i am on the safe side :)

How would you know this pre-patch? The test server items are all 100isk. Or was it just speculation that they would all be brought in-line with each other price wise? |

Wasnt right after the patch but logging in now and alot of my stock is gone in light missile launchers and rockets with the prices skyrocketing :D. |

I'll admit the 20% involves a little bit of forward expectation on my part, the profit today is more like 8% or so.

Don't forget the 1000% increase in frig BPO prices.
Past experience and the test server (they actually had correct NPC prices on there). They did this on other frigate BPOs last round (the condor is a good example if you are in jita).
BPOs are running me ~1000% average profit right now. I'm just trying to ignore the part about how long it will take to sell 20,000 cruiser and frigate BPOs...... |

The 100 ISK seeds are in place but they have standard seeds as well. While I only bought 5 of the cruisers I thought I would actually use in the event things went sideways on this, I did notice that the seeds I "contaminated" are now at the rates they were previous to today. I'm in a remote location, I only bought Celestes BPO's there, no Vexor, Thorax or Exeq. When I logged in today the 3 I hadn't bought are updated to 78 mill. The one I did buy is still sitting at 35. In a nutshell, I "broke" the seed. Some seeds for Celestes are at the new 78 mill rate, the ones people bought from yesterday are at the old value.

Based on previous experience, the orders that were recently purchased from will rise to new NPC value as either 1)Time passes an noone does anything or 2) People complete the sell orders (buy them out). |

About 25-30% with spikes up to about 40%, I heavily invested in Zydrine Megacyte, Morphite and Noble Metals, because they made double bottoms.

I tend to not speculate on expansions. Every time I have tried to do so, Ive failed.

They cost less than a mill to make if you need to buy everything.
5000 is 5 billion. A drop in the bucket.
Double up cost on base for T2 cruisers, that might have something to do with it.

Sold off my stock of cruisers to speculators in the weeks before the patch hit. Now I'm just left wondering how long it will be before producing them becomes profitable again.
I'm small time, but have enough of a stockpile in minerals to keep producing the new destroyers for a few weeks. |
