Well, just used them with my alts and I realized that they dont salvage wrecks of your corp/fleet members unless you order them to do so. Maybe I just ****** up , but if its their normal behavior, please let them at least salvage wrecks of your fleet/corp members. |

You did not mess up. They do not salvage wrecks that you did not make yourself (kill the rat in your noctis ). So if you run missions on your Tengu character and try to salvage on your alt they are about useless since the cycle time on your salvagers is faster than clicking through the menu for drones. This needs to be patched out. |

Personally think they should auto-salvage any wreck that isn't yellow to the player. A lot of pve fleets have a noctis buddy to concentrate on the loot and I know a few ratters who abandon their wrecks for salvagers to clean up. Makes no sense to restrict the drones from eating those up. |

any idea how to get them to work on auto?

Right click on them and select 'salvage'. If there's target, they go automated. |

My experience last night suggests that this only works if the mission is yours. I helped a corpmate, and even though I killed the majority of the mission solo they would salvage nothing without direct command. |

Basically if you Snow Info on a wreck and your name is on it, your drones will salvage it automatically. There's nothing more to it then that, apparently. |

I haven't used them myself yet but this sounds like a good idea. |

When i "abandon" wrecks, my fleet members all the same not salvage in "auto" mode blue wrecks. Only manual selection work. Sorry for bad English. |

Well, the respect of ownership is overrated and makes the drones quite useless for mission running fleets. Thats the point of this thread. If they would also loot the wrecks for you, well that would be a different story. |

Yeah I know. Just there was some confusion on what the drones would target on their own. Seems that it doesn't even matter with the wrecks are abandoned or not, they'll only target the ones under your name. Which doesn't make a lot of sense.
I'm fine with them not looting though. I just tractor in them full wrecks first. |

Just used them today to salvage rats from a belt. Im missing an "engage" function for them implemented in a hotkey.... Also they dont seem to auto-salvage your wrecks anymore, that means if they did it before at all. To be honest, CCP really messed this one up. They are not really thought-out. :-/ |
