hey,
not sure if this is the right place to put this, but il give it a shot and see if i can get any feed back,
All my chat windows are no longer responding, i cant move from one to another, there is a masive time delay between me typing and hitting enter to it being posted in chat channel.
Also i did the cache thing still no diffrence, tho when i logged back on after doing it, none of my chat windows opend up, no corp or allaince or even local.
Any pointers on what todo? |

Same here, all the chat windows are gone, i relog nothing happen, i clean the cache still the same.
any fix? |

Chatwindows gone. Local shows people but nobody in userlist. And various other problems.

Confirming I am having chat window problems. They will not respond to "enter" commands, cannot switch between tabs, and the member list for corp takes 5 minutes to load. War doesn't determine who is right, only who is left.

Ditto here. 2 clients on same system. Both with Chat window locks and problems. When joining a Fleet the originator's fleet chat took a long time to appear.
Also the character window takes an age to pop up. |

Welcome to new content releases for pretty much any MMO.
As there are an extreme number of players online at the moment, you can expect some lag and some other issues that may have not been discovered yet.
As for the chat lag, you are not the only ones, my entire alliance and other contacts are having similar issues.
There is more than likely a bottleneck of data to the servers somewhere that will more and likely be found and corrected thru a patch or a restart of the servers.
Be patient - this isn't Blizzard we're dealing with, as before in the past, I'm sure these issues will be found and corrected swiftly. |

FYI
I just restarted the game and upon log in, all of my custom channels were gone. All I had was local, corp, alliance.
But upon rejoining them, it was instant and I am no longer experiencing chat lag.
You might want to try it and see if the bottleneck is gone. |

Same as above,
Chat channels started taking a long time to swap and load member lists, restarted client to attempt a fix and now none of them load. Quite a few of my corp mates are having the same problems. |

I was having similar problems a few hours ago (I haven't been back on since). My chat windows were very slow to respond when switching systems. It would switch, but there would be at least a 5-10 second lag time where it still showed the previous systems inhabitants. -x |
