I got a few questions about cloaking so i dont do some deadly mistakes:):
1-Does it work on NPC? if you cloak when npc warp in wont they find you?
2- Can you cloak when you are not yet locked but already somebody started to target you?

1) If you are cloaked and anyone warps in,As long as you are not within 2500m of them they wont find you
2) You Can't cloak if someone is targeting you.You must break the lock(ECM) or destroy the target cause you will be unable to clock till then.

Thanks but regarding point 2 i know i cant cloak if im locked, im asking if i can cloak when somebody is in the procces of locking me

If he is in the process of targetting you(Ie its counting down) you cant cloak.

Not true. Get a corp mate to lock you in an indy or something and test.

Anything except a stargate or a staion will insta-uncloak you if you are with in 2000m not 2500m. The staions and stargates will uncloak you after a cycle is complete. You cannot in anyway shape for form cloak within 2000m of something. NPCs cannot see you. You still appear in local.
You can cloak while you are in the process of being locked but you cant cloaked when you are locked. You cannot cloak if you are locking someone.

Really? You can cloak if they are just in the process of targeting you.Did they change this cause I was under the Impression that if they were in the process then you couldnt cloak.

This was also how it worked during my tests, however that was a month ago or so...

Positive. You can cloak WHILE you are being targetted, but not AFTER you have been targetted. 2000m is the decloak range.
