I've created a torrent and will be seeding it on DHT and two trackers.
Torrent Link: https://thepiratebay.se/torrent/8012580
Secondary Torrent Link: (for those untrusting of TBP) http://ge.tt/578w7HV/v/0?c
Torrent Information:Quote:-=EVE Online: Retribution (offline installer) Obtained from: http://community.eveonline.com/download/?fallback=1&-=Files and MD5 hashes=- EVE_Online_Installer_467201.exe - 4F9C6F1FB8BDC4100C243E7EF136A9AF eveonline_467201_1of2.7z - 05659EEF4B51E5F06E9D732E8D7000E6 eveonline_467201_2of2.7z - 2A12222536DC765B70C9D93C3CB7EE6D -=Instructions=- 1. Keep all three files in the same folder as one another 2. Run EVE_Online_Installer_467201.exe 3. Cheers If you're uncomfortable using the included binary, you're more than welcome to redownload it from the website linked above. The .7z files are the core game files while the .exe is just the EVE installer. |

I've noticed a number of people downloading the client, and that's perfectly fine. But if you're looking to help our fellow EVE pilot out by seeding I recommend the following, faster method since CCP's bandwidth is significantly more than my own.
- Download my created torrent file and run it in your chosen torrent client.
- After it has had a few minutes to start, stop the download
- Download all three files from here to the EVE Online - Retribution Offline Installer directory created by the torrent.
- Overwrite all the things.
- Force your torrent client to Recheck the data. uTorrent does this by Right-clicking the torrent, and Force Re-Check.
- It'll confirm a 100% file and once started again you can properly seed.

MOS 99Z, there's about 8 seeders at the time of writing this. Once you've managed to download the file please post here and let us know. |

I'm on a few more trackers that weren't included in the initial torrent, just because. You're welcome to add to them as well.Quote:udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80/announce
udp://tracker.publicbt.com:80/announce
udp://fr33domtracker.h33t.com:3310/announce
udp://tracker.istole.it:80/announce
udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com/announce
Aside from that, there's not a lot of requests. I'm not often going above 305 kB/s upload, if that helps.
Check that you're allowing DHT (Preferences > BitTorrent), add those trackers, and test if stopping the other seeds increases the upload of our EVE torrent. If it does then you might want to increase the allowed upload slots, total allowed connections, and check your bandwidth cap in the uTorrent settings (Preferences > Bandwidth)
Edit: Thanks for helping out, guys. CCP: There's a lot of people making use of this torrent and I bet many of them would be happy if there was something sanctioned or official (especially since I can't keep this up, bandwidth limits in the US) |

To quote the OP, " tried to run the repair each time they fail,"
Because his connection is unreliable, the Repair tools fails to download the missing/corrupted files just as the normal client will. |

OP might choose to give it another try. I would encourage him to try as well, but I want to inform you that his connection issues will have the same impact on the repair tool as it does on the online downloader. If the Repair Tool loses connection it has to start completely over again (I tested this just now), which means that even if it successfully downloads one file of thousands it still has to restart to get the rest. It times out, start it over.
At least with a torrent the protocol is designed to automate the gathering, collecting, and requesting process.

The patch was small enough that I'm unconcerned and not about to drop all of our seeders. Still waiting for an update from our OP and hope he's safe. |
