yes the fanfest idea would be great, and what a pity (i found out) that the original members who have stayed the course were not freely invited.
Now of course its to late as the stupid people that made this fanfest undercaculated the numbers. |

harsh young man, harsh, there isn't anywhere else in iceland thats big enough to my knowledge to hold much more than they can right now in the harpa.
anyone else know if there is a bigger venue in iceland ?
if not i can't see how CCP would deal with next years fanfest if DUST514 gathers a fanbase as big as EVE online has.
spliting it between harpa and the old convention center would be the only way, EVE online in harpa and DUST514 in the older center. can't see that working though, i'm sure CCP would want us all mixing it up together.

Yeah because people who started the game 10 years ago who now have billions upon billions of isk and a ton of nice things alot of the newer players will never be able to get their hands on should totally receive another rare/valuable item, exclusively for them! |

don't be silly, being new does not limit you in any way what so ever, those billions are yours if you want them, learn how to get it, dont be so negative. |

Exactly. Also why I support the non-transferable 'bitter vet' medal.
Can't sell it, can't give it away, Stays with the Account (doesn't transfer when/if char is sold). Doesn't give you any advantage, doesn't take away anything from new people... just a way to say 'hey, look at how much of my life i have wasted!!'

Oh, and LOL to the guy complaining that older players have to much isk, when hes spending 4b to buy a char himself.... |

Every one of us can create wealth iether inventions or building and selling so please dont say just because they are the founders after 10 years , that they have all this wealth and we dont . One makes their bed and lays in it.
A rare item for example has no real value, only to show one has achieved.
As said i think a more personal gift should be given, but i doubt if ccp will part with cash(be that a free membership or not).

You miss slowboating 15Kms to every gate or making a couple bookmarks for every one of them?
Did you ever set your alarm clock because your skill was due completion while you were sleeping?
To me, most changes have been for the best, and I find EvE more enjoyable than it ever was. |

oh well, the rumours now start comming in so the famous gosip wall says that for all players that were joined (at the hip lol) in the first 1/4 of EVE ONLINE comming on line. Down time exempt if under total down time in any period is less than 6 months (that takes unemployment into concideration.to EVE will be giving a 6 months free subsciption , plus a wet tee shirt for girls like me to where heheheheh.
