I always hear of complexes being the source for uber mods beyond what you'll find from faction ships sometimes wandering 0.0 belts, so am I doing the wrong ones?
Soloed my first 8/10 tonight, a Guristas Penal Colony. What did I wind up with? Ten marines and twenty prisoners. Wow. Blew up every structure to make sure, that was the lot.
Know I can probably sell the overseer stuff for ~70m, but expected something a little more rewarding for over four hours work and some 30 battleships downed.
Bugged maybe?

I think theres an x% chance of an uber mod dropping.
Logic dictates that it'a a tiny percentage. If they dropped every time someone did a complex they wouldn't be rare would they?

Soloed a 8/10? I highly doubt that... Since angels 7/10 requires 5+ bs to do.

For 7/10 Angel Complex 2 BS is enought.

I died trying to solo a 4/10 
Thought it might be fun to try it in an Executioner  it wasn't 
On the plus side i lasted at least a minute

Myself and fellow corpies have gone to the end of a certain Angel 8/10 several times and have recived (from the big nasty Doomtorp structure and surrounding "Confiscated property cans") items such as 100 M Fusion charges, small shield booster or nanofiber. 
We cryed with joy at these rewards and retured to our station to celebrate and done it all again another day.

did the 8/10 prison complex as a group the other day, took us 30 min to complete. It dropped a gisti shield boost amp for us 40% or so to shield boost.
That plus the overseers effects netted us somewhere around 450m to split for the 2 corps participating. all the individuals participating recieved about 5m in bounties.
I thought this was a very good corp type op, have been in other corps where their idea of a corp op is Mining for gods sake. I would have to say Complexes are the way to go for a corp op if the loot drop is good.

Guristas complexes appear to be a lot easier than other races. I did once have a nose in a 5/10 Angel one with a Dominix and got spanked hard.

Well I hear pirates hang out in complexes sometimes :) Seems like that would like upgrade their "Rating" from 5/10 to oh say 12/10 /nods :)

guristas complex's are waaaay much easier than there other race's counterparts, i can believe soloing an 8/10 guristas np's.
I did a 6/10 guristas, in last stage was 14!! ravens, loadsa cruisers and frigs, sniped the frigs/cruisers, tanked 9 ravens at once with a lrg smartbomb and 1 lrg arm rep in apoc. easy...

Not true at all .. Just maintain the following the story.
"I wanted to run the complex... So I started. then came across some chap in a Scorp, his blinky lights frightened me so I wasted him"
ban me for that 
some of the 0.0 Complexes are camped 23/7 ... so my ass can you get banned for 'Running into someone' inside a complex.

Slightly off-topic but does anyone know of a decent 6/10+ complex listing?
http://www.asgard-ind.com/complexList.php lists a grand total of one 7/10 complex...
