How do I fit the Corax?

Laris Orwan Industrial Justice Corporation 0	Posted - 2012.12.08 09:40:00 - [1] - Quote I'm struggling to fit it. It has 7 high slots for missiles but only enough power for 1 light missile launcher? I have all the recommended certificates though one of those is hybrid turrets? I thought this was a missile boat? What am I missing? Confused! Thanks in advance

The latter fit doesn't really have the ability of fielding a tank, and tackle would be worthless on a ship shooting at 60km - it is a gang / fleet ship as a LML boat. TEST Alliance BEST Alliance

That is a cruiser module. You want a Light Missile Launcher, not a Rapid Light Missile Launcher. TEST Alliance BEST Alliance

I'm a noob but not a complete idiot :) The Corax has no certificates at all, the Cormorant has hybrid turret certificates. You're trying to fit a Cormorant.

Basic Rapid Light Missile Launchers require 50 PG and 35 CPU. You're trying to fit an oversized weapon on a ship not designed for using oversized weapons. There's your problem. Just go with Light Missile Launchers or Rocket Launchers if you want a fast Rate-of-Fire.

If they had kited me i would have struggled but i got in close and ripped em to bits with blasters.. I'm fitting a caracal now and for 5 - 7 mil more I can wipe the floor with the corax. Like you a shame as it looks ace.. maybe i'm missing something? I'm certainly no expert..

For PvP facemelt, the corax with full rocket rack and web+scram will mop up the place, but as I said, the caldari has the Caracal which fit with rapid launchers can kill anything in frigate and dessie hull pretty fast. And it is FASTER than the corax with MWD.
