Only been playing for about 3 weeks, just want to know if these downtimes/ctd's are a common occurence, and whether it's worth carrying on?

interesting question... a very cool game but the stability was very poor since i'v been here. well i'll wait and see how CCP reacts. a free day would be the least i'd expect thats for sure...

yeh were going to get a free day for sure, maybe 2 if we crash tommorow too.. /me crosses fingers

I'd rather see them spend the money to improve the game or hardware rather than giving everyone a free day.
A free day is like what? $0.5 each? Not much for a single person.
But all together it should be a nice sum.

A free day is better than a sharp stick in the eye, or being unable to login for an hour after downtime...

a free day? yay
i think i would be more happy with 1mil isk than a free day.
like anyone would notice 1 extra day after paying the bill for how long now..

Well, i play 5 month now and i such stuff started to happend only in recent few days. Most of time dt was even shorter then hour.

and in answer to is it worth it, this thing is really quite infrequent in the grand scheme of it all. In my 2 years playing the stability far outweighs the problems in my experience.

I dont see the point of a free day when there isnt a single day without server issues.
