Hello, me and two rl friends have just been ripped off by a scammer, the player Zeepo said he would build us 3 cruisers if we supplied the mins and some isk towards it.
15million isk later (almost everything we have) he still hasn't come up with the goods, is this allowed in EvE?

Zeepo is one of the most notorious scammers in the game.
Scamming is an accepted profession, as is stealing, killing etc.
Im really sorry you got scammed, but you should never give away to people you dont trust.

It pays to read the forums before you talk to people. Zeepo is very well known :)
If you need things built, talk to me - I know a few trustworthy people who could easily help you in that matter.

Scamming is possible and allowed in Eve yes. CCP tries to enforce as little morality on its players as possible, instead allowing for players to create their own ways of dealing with eachother within the given environment.
As said, don't trust anyone further then you know him.
Sent you some isk to lessen the harshness of the loss btw.

May I ask what kind of Cruiser this would have been? For 15 million you can buy 3 Cruisers off the market.
And it is like in RL. If something sounds too good to be true it probably is. So please alway ask for credentials (this is of course also credentials not supplied by the person in question). Use local, help channel and the forum, there are lots of people willing to help.

A good way to get something built is to agree a price beforehand, then have the producer leave the items in Escrow available only to yourself for the agreed price.

And just coz an object says its a "Caldari Osprey", click the info on it and CHECK it. Its very easy to rename stuff.
*sob* *snif* I miss the days of selling shuttles for 10million ISK to CA. Nice little "on the side" earnings .... all under the banner of war of course
