well what can I say?
I dont mind having my ship shot out from under me..
I do how ever mind having it ripped out from under me by lag.
I could not do a thing to save my last mission running ship..
this has happened time and time again.
some of you have experienced that same thing no doubt.
but for me I need to leave eve b4 lag cpmpletely ruins the game for me.
I have given all my stuff to my corp and same with my chr.
at least it will be in good hands.
PS :
No ccp wont give it back i have lost ships in same conditions and petitioned it and was told no.
so to all those i have flewen with, thanks for everything.
This has been the best and worste times of gaming for me.
to all you piwates that have killed me and many gate camps i have busted through and not busted through... No hard feelings

All empire mission runners should lose their ships imo. Then you all might come to zero zero space with all your nice mods.

Right. Well, what can I say?
Maybe if you lived outside of Gyerzen, you wouldn't be experiencing so much lag "time and time again".. ? I somehow can't sympathize with your complaints over lag, when it seems to me you're just looking for an excuse. You made billions running lvl4 missions and never had to learn any real skills, so its no wonder you're bored of it.
I'm sure you can easily afford a dozen mission running ships, but that would require even more grinding to make up for, no? A perfect example of new players doing mindless grinding, getting rich then quitting out of boredom.
PS: If its really the lag thats bothering you, come out to 0.0, I'm sitting at a lvl 4 quality 20 agent without any lag or people for miles.

Agree 100% with you Yeux, Great game, I get a real buzz from running the ganks, I've learned the hard way what ships to use and how to set them up to run through the gank, but every so often lag kicks in and invariably petitions are met with denial.
Kinda spoils it all then.

sorry guys but thats just Dumb.
I was in a system with 5 others last night, Not a mission system, I was simply mining.
I lost connection 7 times.
Get over this 0.0 space crap please
could it be that hey people play this game with an average of 350 - 600 ping time (due to geographical location) and sometimes Lag Seriously effects peoples enjoyment, and even limits their efficetiveness in parts of the game.

sir.. i aint worked gyerzen in a long time... I have worked other ass ends of empire :)
including loosing a ship to local pirates :P
so once i was hunted on a regular basis I moved... and been working a better place. gyerzen is like 20 jumps away from me.
Also i used my iskies to buy stuff for my corp like BPO's and helped a few guys out. yes i have lotsa ships. infact i am like three weeks away from Hac's :), no i am not bored of the game. I have other pl i play with in game or played with.
Billions i do not have.. altho i spose if i sold everythig i could gather up 1b isk and get a new ship and prolly loose that to lag too.. the lag in the last few days has been bad. in one instance I got out with 7% armour and 4% hull. yeah i was worried :P but that was cool.. was my mistake and i nearly paid for it.

Take a change of pace and come and hang in syndicate yeux. You have the access and its a change of scenery.
And its lag free

Heh realy enjoyable I would say.

Oh and yes CCP should do somthing about the lag... I think the lag make more people quit that new stuff make more people join

As you may know, last night EVE crashed and the server had to be rebooted. A skill was being completed at the time, so I lost 2.5 hours of skill training time and when I logged back in, I got lag-warped to a gate where I was pod-killed by sentry-tankers.
I didn't even bother petitoning it. S--- happens.
The only thing that annoyed me was the fact that I died flying a hauler, for an agent mission. Suddenly I realised that two and a half months doing L4s in a carebear corp had removed something from my game, the low-sec fun I had enjoyed previously.
So today a BS, hauler and two mining barge pilots who ****ed off some friends, had a very bad day. And it was easily my best night of EVE in the last month. Not because I am some sort of griefer scum, but because I was doing something different.
There is always someone who has lost more to lag, but it hurts the most when you're doing something that you already find soul-destroying. Change your scene for a time.

Lolz maybe so but pvping cost iskies...
I Love my tackler roll in my corp and it provides fun :)
Sorta like when i brought a domination webber at hlw something or rather for 50m.
ended up putting warp core stabs on and a uber mwd. made it in easy enuf.. getting out was fun to say the least, thanks shinra from the major grey hairs that day :P
But I need a 4-8 weeks break from eve.
Gonna make sure I do something else. Will hang around forums.. I want my monies worht still got 10months game time left :P
