Ok I don't know about everyone else, but the idea of going on the test server just to play my character as he was a few days ago... really isn't that appealing. Why not just give everyone the same benefits we had during Armageddon? Lots of money, all the skills, and none of the consequences. It would attract allot more people than what it currently has... Then we actually might get a few bugs ironed out before they get released on tranquility.

also... who votes that they should switch the names of the servers.... tranquility is anything but tranquil when it comes to the code.

Good idea. I used to go to Chaos, until I got.. uh.. "accidently" pod-killed by a dev/gm. I havne't found one on yet to spawn me a new ship and some guns to try out.
It's actually ALOT of fun to tryout different weapon loadouts and be able to fight other folks with no penalty. I highly recommend it. I'm very surprised m0o isn't on their all the time to get their pvp fix.

If I'm paying to play a game then I do not expect to also have to test the game for them!!
However if they offered half price charges if you tested and reported bugs for 6 hours each week on the chaos server they I would gladly do that.

You mean the OTHER test server?
Why have an incentive to test on chaos? People pay to test everyday on Tranquility.

Andy, actually they are there quite often. The test server is great. It's better if people have their normal skills because you are supposed to be testing things as they are. Any incentive to test other things is incentive not to test the normal things you should be testing. 5 times a day they get some kid on there saying "gimme all skills I need to test battleships".
