EVE is dying in much the sense that we all are dying, as we progress ever onward into the future. We don't get any younger and everything, whether plant, animal, or video game, has its youth, its maturity, and its death. Time is a one-way arrow, marching us all ever onwards towards the bleak abyss of death.

what do the goons have to do with it , they not the largest alliance out there , and coalitions in EVE are rather fragile things
the wheels keep turning and alliances grow in prominence and dwindle out again ; within a few years probably some other alliance other than goons or test will be the dominant alliance in null sec , who knows
it is almost impossibel for a alliance to dominate, have a large influence and a presence yes , but they never have the manpower to permantly change the game itself
