So I through a small bounty on him to just be funny. Then I have "GM Dickhead" warning me that 'excessive' use of bounties will get me banned. First off 1, 1mill bounty is exceasive? Its the only one I have placed and I get a warning? 2ndly how is 'GM dickhead" an appropriate name for a representitive of CCP who is supposed to moniter inappropriate behaviour? And lastly if you can't use bountes to get at people who sre causing you problems why have the bountt system in the first place?

If not, then that person was a regular player posing as a GM. Petition it. On the off -chance that there really is a "GM dickhead" then I must ask you... was the person mouthing off at you a "new player" (see: less than a month old) and/or were you in a "newbie system"? Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective.

Not sure if they were a new player or not, or if i was in a noob sstem. I was in a 0.5 area. And bastanold I am a returning player so have only actually played for 4 months. So I concider myself new.

The incentive to kill someone is based on the value of the ship they are flying, not on the total bounty. Placing an "excessive" bounty on a player just means that they have a bounty for a longer time, not that there is any more reason to kill them. New players aren't likely to be flying anything worth enough to make them a valuable target. I don't see how CCP can implement a policy governing the "excessive" use of bounties, unless they are refering to spamming a player with multiple tiny bounties in the same way you might spam a player with other communications. In any case, if you have a question about a GM response, you should file a petition. If you are not satisifed with the response, you can politely ask for a second opinion from a Senior GM. With any luck, that message was from the nob and impersonating a GM will land him a vacation from EVE.

I smell a troll, a very bad troll. But with the slight chance it's genuine. If a GM orders you to do something ALWAYS check if they are in the CCP Alliance. But character age doesn't say something about a player. Friend of mine just came back to EVE after a 2 year break, his character is 2,5 years old but his actual playtime is less then 6 months. Hey...we are talking about CCP here...The guys who "fix" broken mechanics by replacing it with other broken mechanics and then after a couple of tries finally find something that works (which is usually just the original version).
