I know that I'm fairly new to the Whole PI Skill but from what I've learned. You can Plex an acct with just 1 or 2 characters learning the right skill set.
If I can stand to make 400mil ISK per month with 2 characters doing PI with minimal worry about losing anything, just by being in High Sec Space doesn't that mean that it's a little OP in it's current state.
I feel that there should be a way to PVP with the PI Skill and it should be out soon.
Anyone else have thoughts on this.
I know that they are looking into it but it's not out yet and i'm just curious if anyone else feels the same about this. |

Have you done Planetary Interaction? Have you made 440m isk per month in high sec? Or you "heard" this?
How do you know they are looking onto it?
What is the "PI skill" you want to pvp with?
Is this a troll? |

With 4 planets producing the right product and only bringing in products from 1 planet with enough care you can make around 400mil isk per month for 1 character in high sec.

It's in the numbers and I'm working on it. Right now I have 1 planet that is making me 100mil isk per month as long as i keep up on it. (the Market could change)
I think that PVP for PI should be incorporated on the EVE level into the PI Skills Tree... Nothing like oh you bring your Abaddon out to Shoot my Colony... more like if you want to conquer someones PI Planet/the same grid it would be along the lines of overpowering their PI Defense with your PI Offense.
Allowing Milita Units that you obtain in the game to have a Use in PI. ^_^
That's one Suggestion atleast.

Well 400mil isk a month and all you have to do is check this and move that and run some numbers... It's the safest money in the game in high sec might not be as fast as some people like it but for a new acct with a little bit of money say 25mil to get started to be able to make 400mil isk in a month is just ridiculous... it needs to have something to counteract it / make it a little more risky.
This is after all EVE we are talking about. ^_^ |

That you have a risk...
You are engaging your ship in combat against foes that are attacking you. You have to be active or you have a chance of losing your ship. Should you not be aware of the situation or warp in un-prepared you could lose 100mil + in a level 4.
The only risks you have with PI is spending too much ISK setting it up as a noob, or you can possibly get sui-ganked in high sec by goonswarm for leaving warping into the customs office to pick up your goods. |

PI products have no inherent value. If a lot of people got into it, the prices would fall. Make it harder and the prices would rise.

Malkuth Delapounti wrote:Ah dude If you can make that much ISK in HIGH SEC With PI then your amazing.
And No you can't. LOL.
Haters gonna hate. Sit down and actually make a spreadsheet because this is completely possible in multiple ways even with a single character. Add another on top of that and its absolutely possible.
Because I'm so tired of people not believing people's claims about how profitable high-security PI can be I'm going to show you the math right now from my spreadsheet.
Alright kids this is based on the following: Operating out of Jita, having a spreadsheet, being able to do simple math, noticing market trends, generally checking something before you go LOL NO, and having Interplanetary Consolidation and Command Center Upgrades IV.
We're going to use 4 planets in New Caldari and 1 in Ikuchi. All are Temperate or Barren and are reasonably small in terms of diameter.
We're going to be making Broadcast Nodes and we need three P3 inputs: Neocoms, Data Chips, and High-Tech Transmitters
Neocoms:
Price to Make from P1 Inputs: 39,710.47 ISK Price to Make from P2 Inputs: 36,366.67 ISK Price to Make from P3 Inputs: 39,889.00 ISK
Data Chips:
Price to Make from P1 Inputs: 35,482.25 ISK Price to Make from P2 Inputs: 39,646.67 ISK Price to Make from P3 Inputs: 45,000.00 ISK
High-Tech Transmitters:
Price to Make from P1 Inputs: 44,660.20ISK Price to Make from P2 Inputs: 48,912.27 ISK Price to Make from P3 Inputs: 56,440.00 ISK
Input Cost Per Broadcast Unit:
P1 Inputs: 719,117.54 ISK P2 Inputs: 749,553.60 ISK P3 Inputs: 847,974.00 ISK
Import and Export Taxes:
55,400.00 ISK - Regardless of which way you make it.
Broker and Market Fees
17,460.00 ISK - Assumes no skills that reduce these fees.
Total Cost Per Broadcast Unit:
P1 Inputs: 791,977.54 ISK P2 Inputs: 822,413.60 ISK P3 Inputs: 920,774.00 ISK
Current Market Value:
873,000.00 - This is the sell order price and numerous units are sold at this price everyday and I used to make these along with Nano-Factories so I know they sell at this price.
Total Profit Per Unit
P1 Inputs: 81,022.46 ISK P2 Inputs: 50,586.40 ISK P3 Inputs: -50,774.00 ISK
Now when we calculate hourly/daily/weekly/monthly profitability we need to consider which planetary infrastructure configuration is going to give us our best option with a single character.
Unfortunately due to current powergrid and CPU limitations it is generally impractical to try to do P1 -> P4 production on a single planet. So let's look at P2 -> P4 production instead.
Given the skills I listed you should be able to fit the following on the planets I listed:
1 Launchpad 4 High-Tech Production Facilities 16 Advanced Production Facilities 1 Storage Facility
This will work well given what we want to produce and current market prices. Neocoms do not vary in price more than a few percent regardless of whether they are made from P1, P2, or P3 input prices. Consequently we can just buy the completed P3 units and focus on making Data Chips and High-Tech Transmitters from P2 components on our planets. Obviously this will impact our overall profit but it's really the only way to go about this efficiently. With additional PI characters which can be trained up to IV skills with decent hauler abilities takes 2 weeks or so you can massively increase your profit margins. Continuing on....
Total Profit from Broadcast Nodes Using P3 Neocoms and Data Chips and High-Tech Transmitters Made from P2 Inputs:
29,452.40 ISK / unit
Assuming we have all five planets configured to produce these we'll have a total of 20 High-Tech Production Facilities making one unit each per hour, thus 20 units per hour. Using this we can calculate profit per hour, day, week and month.
Profit Per Hour: 736,310.00 ISK Profit Per Day: 17,671,440.00 ISK Profit Per Week: 123,700,080.00 ISK Profit Per Month: 494,800,320.00 ISK
Now lets assume you've got an extra character and can make Neocoms from P2 inputs. Look at the massive difference in profit:
Profit Per Hour: 1,264,660.00 ISK Profit Per Day: 30,351,840.00 ISK Profit Per Week: 212,462,880.00 ISK Profit Per Month: 849,851,520.00 ISK
Now lets go really crazy and assume you have two PI alts to support your main's production:
Profit Per Hour: 2,025,561.60 Profit Per Day: 48,613,478.40 ISK Profit Per Week: 340,294,348.80 ISK Profit Per Month: 1,361,177,395.20 ISK
Conclusions
PI can be incredibly profitable. Oh yeah and this is all HIGH SEC so the next time someone says high-sec PI ask for proof because I can assure you that they don't have any. |

What Joshua forgot to mention, is your storage is finite. From my experiences with high sec production planets, you will need to visit your planet daily, if not twice a day. Hopefully they are all in the same system, or you'll be doing a lot of flying around.
But that's not even the real problem with this plan. The real problem is the slim margin. 29.5k of 873k is only 3.5%. If prices change at all, you could find yourself deeply invested in a losing venture. You might think this is speculation, but consider this: With Joshua's proposal, you will make 480 Broadcast Nodes daily. Between Oct 1st to Oct 5th, Jita market graph shows 21186 units sold, that's an average of 4237 daily. In other words, one character will be producing more than 10% of Jitas daily market. If you expect to add that much to the market, and not see the price drop equally, you're being foolish.
To the OP: Yea, you can make money with PI. You can probably even make enough to pay for your plex, but you won't be doing a whole lot more than that. It's not considered "overpowered" because the amount of time required is considered worth that much (or more to the buyer). Might as well just get a real job, and enjoy your game time instead of working for some faceless goon. |

That's just one fo the configurations you can possibly setup. That one requires a visit every 14 hours to refill the LP's. Alternatively there are other designs that allow you to visit only once every 40 hours. It all depends on how small the diameters of your planets are and whether you can really conserve MW/CPU used by links. As for Broadcast Nodes being that great a product yeah it becomes a problem when scale is involved, but I was just using that one to illustrate a point on potential profitability. There are much better schemes out there. That one was handy because all the prices for it were recent in my spreadsheet. Also depending on what scheme you do and if you have alts to devote production to you'll have much larger margins. if you do complete P2-P4 production you're looking at 9.68% which is a reasonable amount.
Market fluctuations like you said will be a problem from time to time but with certain goods you see long-term stability. In the end there is an argument to be made between profit vs risk just like in life. The more risk you take the higher the profits generally are and vice versa.

This is just so idiotic.
Good Luck making that 400 Million on one toon in High Sec. MAYBE 250 M, but that's with really great planet resources.
250M / Month is not worth making MORE difficult. It's drop in the bucket. Besides, as pointed out, there is WAY much more money in running Level 4 missions and there is NO threat at all there.
Those Missions bring me over 2 BILLION a month. Why don't we make THEM more risky in High Sec as well, huh ??
Grow a set and do PI in Low Sec. Now, that WILL bring in at least 1.6 BILLION a month, which I do. AND it is super risky.
Lets see you sweat at a Custom Station for pick up and 3 'Canes uncloak.

Side stepping debate on how much you might be able to earn a month with PI, the whole point of PI is the Dust tie-in. CCP wants these planets to be valuable enough to us FiS guys that we will be willing to pay Dusties to fight over them.
With that goal in mind, I don't think we're there yet. When I can pack up and move to the next planet or system for a minimal expense, why would I pay someone to defend my claim or to kick someone else off of a planet?
IMO, unless the Dust tie-in will be deal only with Sov 0.0 planets, PI needs to become more valuable, not less. |

Yeah clearly you struggle with math too. 9.68% profit(849,851,520.00) on a main + alt with 1 hour of refilling on each character every 40 hours is awful. My god the passive income is so bad I should just delete my accounts.

The truth is if you do your homework you can find many markets in which to operate and profit.
Low Sec PI and it's production LIMIT (based on the CPU and Power limits of the Command Centers themselves) has a built-in limit to how much P1 can be produced from P0.

The only risk of doing PI in high sec is Un-Docking Flying, Picking Up/ Dropping Off and Docking again. (if you're known for making money on PI you might get Suicide Ganked in Highsec... Not as likely)
With Running Missions in High Sec. If there is no Risk then surely you can fly out in a cruiser and take on a level 4 mission without having it fit properly?
The risk with missions is that you can lose your ship. You cannot get podded by NPC's, but they will blow up your ship.
Would you like to say that there is no risk for mission running again? The risk gets smaller and smaller as you get a better and better ship. Take out your Good Ship / You're "1337" Skills. Then you're more likely to lose a ship. Hence More RISK than PI.
Why I posted this is because with everything there is a balance.
Mining = what used to be the safest high sec activity. You can get suicide Ganked by Goonswarm. Missions = Relatively safe, you can lose your ship. Trading = Investment / Market Risks. (No Ship Loss if you stay docked)
PI = From Nil to Millions without going into space but a few times a week if even.
The most you'll spend on a PI Character if you know what you're doing is going to be 50million Max for start up costs. Then 50mil for that one time set up where you make 400mil a month in no time flat.
There is no risk for Mining. There is no Fighting for Production Slots, There is little to no flying in space as you can check planetary progress from your station...
Go to Low/Null and do PI you'll make more ISK with only slightly more risk
...
I'm sure there is a lot of things in eve that veteran players like to do other than PI to make loads of money and there is a risk involved with each one... However, If you don't like PI or don't do PI please do not post in this topic unless your Post is in someway constructive...

It is already just as risky as any other activity in the game. No more, no less. You can get suicide ganked at a custom station in High Sec just as easily as in Low Sec. High Sec rules already stop NO behaviors.
This entire thread is POINTLESS.
You already have the most 'dangerous' MMO on the Market. Make it more so? Make the game next to impossible to play for anyone in high sec? Make everything hideously even more dangerous ?
At some point.......no one will bother to play. Sounds like a plan being brewed up by yet another infant Nullbear.

You're out of your mind if you think DUST mechanics are going to affect hisec. CCP has stubbornly protected those that choose to remain in hisec for years now, and there's no indication that this will change any time in the foreseeable future.

well, PI is profitable because the ppl that do it are just getting p1 or p2 products and selling them once a week to ppl who buy them at hubs and grind them on factory planets... and they do that because its profitable, and it is so because they are the only ones doing it. and yeah doing it is really a ISK printing machine... you can make money as fast as you can cycle your factories.
now, hows that op?
op would be if there were no way to... JUST GET YOUR OWN DAMN FACTOY PLANETS NEAR A HUB AND COMPETE...
oh wait, you can do that can you? and by doing it... wouldnt that make the profitability drop? in wich case wouldnt it be better for you just to stay working your niche producing p1 - p2 and selling OVER market price, in the hopes that this factory runners deplete the resources on market and have no option but to buy your crap?

Well...considering that PI is not really as skill intensive (especially in high sec) and the fact that a noob can do it, 400 mill ISK a month is a lot. Especially since once you're set up, you prolly need minimal mangement relative to stuff that's done in Level 4 missions, and low sec ratting, or wormholes. etc.
I mean, is "T1 module production" or something comparable to this? That's what you have to look at as a basis. I mean, you can say, 0.0 moon mining is much more profitable, but that's not really that accesible to a young character. |

Cloaking canes? Only in Science and industry Confirming that is an excellent idea... if you have half a brain you will be doing your PI pickup in the fastest Covert Transport you can fit. Which can have an align time of about 2.8seconds. Now paste that time on the wall and consider a "Cloaking Cane"
Okay, lets guess that the "Improved Cloaking Device II" would be used.
Quote:Improved Cloaking Device II Speed penalty: -75% Sensor Recalibration: 20 seconds Scan Resolution Bonus: -40% (basically makes you target slower)
Using this with Cloaking 5 (yeah right.. a ganker would train that..??) that reduces sensor recalibration time by 50% (or 10% per level).. the Cane's still have a minimum 10second delay before they can start targeting. And due to the negative scan res bonus, they'll take a few seconds to target you as well.. Meaning that you can easily get out before they can get a lock on you..
On the other hand, if there is a CovOps frig.. he just might be able to lock and point.. But a simple smart tactic can be used..
- open your cargo - approach the customs office and stay out of 2000 range - align to your safespot and make sure you "brush" into the 2000 range.. - open office and drag your good to your hold just after you've hit warp..
You've never been visible to the gankers apart from them seeing you warp off.. which if you did the aligning right.. should happened within a second. Which is too short for anyone to target you and point. |

Want to make profit with PI? Use highsec for installing reaction-planets only, and harvest P2 in nullsec-planets (you WILL need a pos, preferably at a good moon), producing materials that have high market turnaround and relatively stable price (pos-fuels). Also, there is the niche market that fluctuates, like polyaramid, but it can be rewarding if you sell your batch in the right time. It is just a bit more risky. Just my two cents. |

I can't stand to see people who think that running missions has no risk to it...
I can't believe the people who think that there is a lot of risk in PI...
Do people even understand the mechanics to this game before they post.
High-Sec PI can be done at any stage in the P0-P4 Production line and make people quite a bit of money.
If I had the Money and knew the market would be stable I can turn 10billion ISK into 1.8 Billion ISK profit Per month. or every month turn 10billion ISK into 11.8 billion ISK at the end of 30 days. <_<
That's nearly 20% profit margin. How can I do this... look at the market run the numbers yourself and figure it out.
If you don't believe me and you have run the numbers then i might let you in on a secret project that I have been working on that helps me find these numbers. I've tested it out and it's possible.
It shows me the profits that can be made given an end project that I want.
Right now I'm making 100mil isk per month of just one planet in high sec. |

So the purpose of your thread is that you are making too much money on PI?
Every character in the game can do it. I fail to see how an activity which is universal can be "OP," especially when 90% of the profit margin is dependent upon smart trading.
I'm not sure you have a point at all, I think you just wanted your own forum thread to argue in. |

Can't say you can't make that kind of money in 0.0 with 2 characters with perfect PI skills, but remember that undocking in an industrial and warping to a celestial is pure suicide in 0.0. (Since it's so freaking obvious, why would anyone warp off to a planet in a industrial)
And then you need to setup the logistics to move that PI crap out of there. Your 400m of worth of goods need a jump freighter (70-80,000m3). Unless you wanna burn your fuel and cynos jumping that crap out in a carrier. |

It appears that you have forgotten about Dust514? The whole point of that game will be for us Eve players to contract PS3 Dust players to take out PI .
The reason why PI is so safe right now is because CCP is depending on us to provide them with a population of planets to run Dust with.
So... PI is safe right now, but be prepared to pay for security later.

New players, with less then a week of training, can setup 5 harvest planets in hi-sec that pay for themselves in about 7-10 days. After which, those planets give them product each week that can be hauled to market and sold for ISK. The only ongoing cost that they have to deal with is export taxes and the time spent (nobody needs to move ECUs around in 90% of the cases, it's a waste of ISK over the long term).
No, hi-sec PI harvest planets do not generate a lot of ISK , but for a new player that 60-100M ISK per month for those 5 planets goes a long ways. And if they're smart about it, they can make closer to 120M per month with just 5 planets for not a lot of work. Later on, as they build their capital reserves, they can get into P2/P3/P4 production worlds (all of which make a profit, as long as you pay attention).
Remember, new players get big eyes when you say something costs 5M ISK. That's still a lot of money to a player with less then 2 months in-game. |

Yeah, I think this is very true. I see a lot of posts about "0.0" and "jita trading with 10 billion seed money" etc. But that's kind of off topic and doesn't compare. I mean, is PI "overpowered" because someone who starts playing and is good at Farmville (or EVEVille ) can make 400 mil per month? I suppose if you log onto FarmVille a lot and maintain it enough, you will get a pretty impressive farm, right? But the same can be said about leveling to L4 missioning and maybe you will get some crap payout in the beginning, but when you are super battleship ready...that 2 bill a month is 4 times PI with 3 characters...And you didn't have to divide your training. Are L4 missions "overpowered"?
So, hey, maybe PI is a good way for noobs (in HIGH SEC!) to make some decent ISK, but it doesn't sound to me that it's overpowered since it has a cap. |

as a returning player (been away a couple of years, previously played for about a year or so), PI seems like a reasonable way of making some much needed isk whilst I get back into the swing of things again.
I have a couple of ships and various items spread all over the place since I was last here, the costs of buying a decent ship, fitting it out properly are beyond me at the moment.
I can run missions, but my rep seems to be pretty low, so I wont be getting into high-payment missions for a while.
I figure, some PI, whilst I'm building up rep running low level missions will start to create a healthy bank balance to allow me to go have fun elsewhere.
I don't think I ever had more than 150mil, whatever I made went on ships, fittings etc, but then I'm only a casual player (maybe an hour or two per day at most, and only 4 or 5 days per week). |

I have three accounts, I run PI on only the main toon on each account, I run extractors at 26-28 hour cycles requiring me to log in to each toon for about 5 minutes each day, I extract all my P0 myself and buy nothing. I make all the P2 and P3 used for POS fuel, I haul to Jita or where ever the best price is once per week which takes me about 2 hours of game time to gather everything up together and haul it. I make about 400-600 mil a month from high sec PI requiring only about 2.5-3 hours time invested per week on three toons, which could be done with one account if you trained up all your alts.
PI can make loads of isk. the more time you invest the more isk you can make. even in high sec. |

i don't think the Op realize that if you want to make 400 mil plus from pi in high sec it is relative alot of work, that is if you are using your 2 alts aswell for pi Pi might look easy but don(t forget that for max output you need to tend to your extractor planets on a daily base, emptying them , bringing those goods to your factory planets which in my case i need to be fed every day with materials and i am doing this with 3 accounts
And as every one else i have all my extractor planets or what ever you call them in low sec , yes there is a risk but it is a relative small one , even using a normal t1 hauler it is relative small i think , you just need to find the right low sec area , most of it is actually a wasteland where you can fly around for hours without meeting anyone
So sure you can earn 400 mil per month but it needs much more work and planning than you think
i will however dread the day when other people who have no use or just want to grief can lock me out of those lowsec planets I do not agree with what you are saying , but i will defend to the death your right to say it...... Voltaire |

I have to give more examples I guess to show the profit levels of PI.. <_<
PI is like a Pyramid... Everything at the bottom is worth very little; however, as it grows through the levels of production it becomes more valuable. No not the initial Raw Products or their P1 Counterparts but the products that stem from them. The more you go through and build up from nothing the more you can produce and then eventually you're no longer making just the 15mil per week or 60mil a month that some extractors make. You're making the 1mil per hour due to buying the stuff that others make and selling the next product in that chain. Don't believe me? Do the math yourself or talk with me and I'll show you how it works. ^_^
The one thing about PI, Just like any other form of production, you have a supply that must be met to be able to sell the products to those that demand them. You also have a limit on the number of products that you can sell to keep the market in a good enough shape.
If you can supply 30% of all the goods on the market in one category on a daily basis, but only 20% are demanded per day on that daily basis. Sell them 10-15% and you keep doubling your supply. While the price still climbs. Don't sell more to the market directly, sell to the consumers who demand your product on a personal basis. Where they will use your product in their own productions. When you control the market, you control the price, you control your profits.
Remember that If you keep 10% per day, after a week you'll be able to supply 100% of the daily demand. But you don't have to stop your surplus there. You build up your surplus enough you'll be able to stop production and switch over to something else.
However, it can only be possible if you have the supply, and where do you get the supply?
If you don't mind getting your hands dirty, or can afford a spare acct you can build everything you need by yourself. If you can get people to help you achieve your goals, then you control another market where you pull in more profit per trade which means more isk per month. You could be the lucky one who runs the largest supply of PI and eventually can make more than any individual person doing Incursions.
The beautiful thing about all this? A Majority of it can be automated to where you don't have to be there constantly to make that ISK.
Now ask yourself... Why would you play eve to pay for eve? When you could play eve and not have to worry about the constant worry of incursioning for ISK. Why work when you can play?
To get anywhere in eve, financially speaking you have to work. If you have a full time job, why come home and spend more time working and less time playing the game?
I'm not saying PI is for everyone; however, I do suggest that PI is one of the easiest ways to earn isk in this game. Especially when you don't even have to be there. Some may argue that Industry is better. Building Ships / Modules. However if you don't have the facilities / supply / demand or the want to go out and spend hours out in the belts mining. Then it's not worth getting into.
I'd have to say that 80% of Planetary Interaction is Automated, Constantly Cycling through without minute by minute checking. When you can make this much isk per hour without actually sitting at the computer, why not invest into it? You don't need to invest anymore then a few hours a week and 10-20 days of your Training Queue on building up a Character to do PI.
So is PI a bit overpowered? I'd say so; however, I've done the research and there is a risk of investment, should you buy everything for PI and expecting the market to play fair. There is also the fact that you do have to invest time into it in order to get to the point of Plexing an acct. Time or Money and to Play it safe I'd pick time.
These things do Help Balance out PI. However, the fact that no one can disrupt your planets and only disrupt the players makes that a bit of an In-balancing Issue. Sure their plan to fix this is with Dust 514... That's still in production, and wont necessarily be out for a while. Then you have to worry about if Dust 514 Players are actually going to worry about protecting / assaulting your planets. Then the Reliability of them doing what they were asked to do? There should be an EVE Side PVP tie-in. |

I have found PI to be very very profitable just by making the P3 and/or P4 items. I mainly specialize my 3 characters to all make the same thing, haul it to my trade hub of choice and sell it off on a daily basis. Yes it is slightly more work to sell stuff off on a daily basis, but when my factory worlds are all just 1 jump from where I post them, it's hardly taxing.
Now I can make 20-40 million profit per day per character if I get my materials from the market directly, more if people fill my buy orders before I need to restock.
Now simple maths assuming 20 mill per day per toon profit:
1 Day = 60 mill profit 7 Days (1 week): 420 (plex bought with first weeks profits) 28 days (4 weeks): 1.68 billion ISK profit - 420 mill (plex) =1.26 bill a month profit. Yes 28 days isn't a month, I just felt like doing 4 weeks cos of how I do my plex refresh etc.
Now this would take say 30 minutes a day MAYBE an hour depending if I get distracted tabbing out or whatever. Not a bad income when you think about it. The only snag really is...well it's boring to set up at first and hauling is boring. Also being at the mercy of the market can make your profits skyrocket...or totally crash to loosing cash. If you see your loosing cash, keep making your end product and stash it in your hanger and find the new best item and go from there.
Also as people have said never bother extracting in empire if you can help it. Low sec/null sec is where the real extraction happens, high sec is where you get your feet wet and see if P0-P1 is really your cup of tea, not where you make isk to get plex's or to gather seed money to start factory worlds that run 24/7. |

Abadayos - Empire Space Extraction is good for those getting started in PI as it will help them to get a start in pulling in ISK. If they can pull in a decent amount of products then they can make a decent amount of isk per day. It's not the greatest but it is a start.
Until someone can find a decent low/null sec close enough to their empire space counterparts/ corp then it's best to keep in Empire Space.
Problems with Low and Below Extraction - Covert Ops Hauler - Almost always required. Watching for Gate Camps. Make Sure you try to not get ganked. Fear of Losing everything instead of gaining.
Given enough time / money / support anyone can make a decent living off of Low and Below Extraction. They just have to feel comfortable in that space.
Now if you're not a new player or a complete carebear then Don't Extract in Empire. Find yourself a decent Low and Below System and start setting up shop. Just please! Keep Cloaked or at a Safe Spot! |
