moved from Ships & Modules - Sherkaner is there a specific agent type which gives out kill missions as oposed to transport missions or deadspace missions? Does someone have a list or could someone make one explaining the different types of agents and their differences? Currently i have been doing security missions however i am not fond of deadspace and much prefer kill.

Of course there is.
What you need to do is check an NPC corp, your case would be Federation Navy (i might be wrong) or any Navy for that matter, and click the Agents tab, and look for security agents that you can use and go fly to one.
Security agents are about 95% kill missions.

sorry maybe i was not clear.
i am not looking for information about obtaining an agent, i am looking for information reguarding the types of agents (I.E. R&D, security, servailence, ect.) and what types of missions they offer. I have been doing missions for the caldari navy as it is convinient for my location and the security agent(s) (levels 1, 2, and 3) have been giving me deadspace missions. My main question is wether a different type of agent offers a greater kill/deadspace ratio than the deadspace/kill ratio of the security agent. However i would be interested in learning what each type of agent offers as mission types and their differences.

Frankly I don't think that information is available, Aversin. What the devs have said at various times, is that they are expanding the number of DS missions on a steady basis. This was a consequence of the 'dual MWD' and 'MWD+AB' nerfs, when it became clear that CCP were opposed in principle to the use of speed as a combat tactic for anything other than Interceptor/Frigates.
...No, I don't know why they think that either.

Here is one that gives a decent breakdown, although it may be a dated list.

A kill mission is a kill mission whether it is in deadspace or normal space.
Since missions are assigned randomly, I dont think you will ever get a clear cut answer to the question.

I think it picks between courier mission and kill mission. If it picks a kill mission, it then picks between a standard kill mission and a deadspace kill mission. The game doesn't make much of a distinction, as far as I'm aware, except that deadspace missions are given their own category.
I could be wrong.
