We are a corporation that has recently been established by a group of 10 active players of varying skill levels. Our HQ is located in Ziriert system, located in Domain and Providence region, 2 jumps away from 0.0 space.
In the last month we have set up good logistics, made the corp financially independant and organized the basic Tech1 BPOs, so we can produce all the basic equipment and ammo we need on day to day bases. With basics set up, we have decided that it is time to invite more people to fly with us.
We have recently joined the Huzzah Federation, which we have fought in gang with on numerous occasions before, and by that gained access to some very rich and alliance protected 0.0 space.
We are in essence a freelancing corp, as we do not force members to do anything for the corp, but we all come to help eachother out when needed. We fly together when doing complexes or small PvP fleets, and generally enjoy the game. However we also let members the freedom when they want it, to either do missions, kill rats, or even, if they really want to, mine.
So what do we have to offer?
- A good corpchat - Easy and centralized supply of basic materials and equipment - Corp production and refinement experts for best yields - Advice of experienced players - Good atmosphere with people flying gangs, for both Complex running and PvP - Easy access to 0.0, which we help to keep free of pirates for the benefit of all locals - Any kind of in game help, when members need it - Corporate environment, which encourages investment into corp funds for proposed projects and pays out dividends based on that - Leadership opportunities for experienced people with good ideas - Membership in alliance, lots of opportunities for PvP in a generally positive environment, mostly in smaller gangs and some fleet action too.
What do we want?
- A good corpchat - We welcome mature adult players with a good sense of humour - Any SP or ISK level - Team spirit and help for corp members who need it - Active players, who want to play the game with respect to all players - Players who understand that they represent the corp in their actions
Don't bother contacting us if you are: - Scammer - Exploiter - Ore Thief - Planning on pirating noob miners
For details on the application process, convo or EVE-mail Sergej Regards, Sergej

Edited by: The Weasel on 17/05/2005 10:14:02 Sergej lied up there:
Quote: We are in essence a freelancing corp, as we do not force members to do anything for the corp
Thats not true. Ever since this post wandered down to page 2 on the forum he was nagging me "bump the post", "the post needs a bump", "can you bump the post please" ...
So I guess we Do get forced to do some things.
Edit:
*gets hit by his captain*
But of course I wrote this on my own free will. This is not a bump, does not represent the general opinion of our corp and most likely I was drunk when writing the above. When I think about it ... my captain never ever in no situation forced me to do anything.

I don't nag THAT much, it's just that some direcotrs tend to be forgetful, and have to be... reminded .
Thanks for the kind words Hardin. Regards, Sergej

I've been with the Bridgeburners now for over a month, it's a great corp with an excellent leader. Being in Ziriert means there is no shortage of money making, with the complex 1 jump away, 0.0 only two jumps away and some good minerals to mine in the belts if thats what your into.
Everyone in the corp is friendly and all get along really well, even thou I have blown up 3 of my corp members ships (accident I swear) ;)

If you could send me an EVEmail on why you call yourselves the Bridge Burners as well as your goals as a corporation I would love to put your corporation on my list of posibilities.

the goals of our corp can be found in the beginning of this thread. as to why we call ourself bridgeburners: well it started out a long long time ago on a planet far far away and was basically just a game played by some unblooded warriors to proove themselfs. content of the game was to burn the bridge in the towncenter of the neighboring village without getting caught by the elders. long story short, it became a very popular game and soon there were no bridges left on the whole planet. thus traveling became very annoying and as a consequence space traveling was invented cause the majority of the populance thought wading through the rivers sucked. there was a hard time before we were old enough to get our pilots licenses, so we passed time by jumping from the Deru Tree down into one of the two waterfalls below. sadly we lost some good friends back there. yap anyway, so here we are now. still hanging out together always looking for some new games to play and basically just to have fun.
any other questions?

A common question is what timezones do we mainly play in. We're mostly from EU, so we play in EU timezones, although we do tend to be awake long into US timezones on weekends . Regards, Sergej

Sergej tought me, The Weasel, it means nothing - absolutely nothing - to loose two Heavy Assault Ships within thirty minuntes. And thus The Weasel finally grasped his grandeur and ever since stayed in awe. Blinded by his brightness ever hoping it will shine upon the Weasel too. His beauty unmatc..
*The Weasel dodges another hit from its captain*
*moves off and grumbles:*
... grmbl ... traitorous matari bastard cant take when The Weasel makes fun of him ... grmbl ... that little dumbwitted son of a rabid shepherd ... poor excuse for a hairless goat's dung ... grmbl ...

Edited by: Sergej on 31/05/2005 13:22:28 Sure, make fun of the Captain, all over the forums, but at least do it with real in game facts. I refuse to admit it was 30 minutes !!! More like 45. OK, 40 ish...
More importantly, we have recently joined the Huzzah federation, giving us more opportunities to explore and live in 0.0 space, good 0.0 logistics, and access to some pretty rich regions, but most importantly, plenty opportunities for fun pvp. Regards, Sergej

You really think we should tell in the recruitment thread that you blew up a corpmates HAS? Well maybe we should, tells nicely how we value a fun fight more than ISK. (Though the idea was to stop at structure, which is kind of hard with torps still in air ) Regards, Sergej

Am a Teamplay orientated player. N00by in that i am a month or so into the game, have around 900,000 sp with maybe 500,000 in learning and the rest spread nicely around, the other large section of SP being in both Gunnery and basic EW. My current corp is a group of friends form the TPF Forums where I'm an admin, the corp is limited in that there are 5 of us and the longest player is two months into the game, have not yet Pvp'ed but have been podkilled once (ghey, don't haul antibiotics thru lo sec and then go and cook dinner cos the missus is hungry /sigh).
Mainly I want to find a new corp thats friendly, ready for a bit of a laugh and while taking the game seriously doesn't go OTT (last ones a bit vague I know). Most of all I want to see more of Eve, been low sec a fair bit but never 0,0.
Anyways I have been looking over UKC and you guys but I figure I would integrate faster into a smaller corp.
If your interested evemail me or convo ingame.
Thanks
Maelstrom ********************* Edit:
Oh yeah, am UK based and on most evenings/weekends at some point.

wait wait wait! i did not just blow up a corpmates heavy assault. i blew up the corps CEOs heavy assault. that's a huge difference. i'd never harm a corpmate. except by accident. at least i'd decline the intentionality of my actions :D
