I rat in a drone only dominix and even after retribution, until yesterday I could release heavy drones and kill bs rats 9 times out of ten without problems.
After yesterdays patch I am now finding that if there are any frig sized rats at all they constantly go for heavies.
Was there a subtle change brought in yesterday?
I basically now have to kill frigs first before I do anything else which is fine but makes chaining almost impossible with my current setup.
Ah well, I'm sure I'll figure something out. |

I know about the retribution ai changes, duh. I haven't been under a rock.
I'm talking about yesterdays patch which appears to have altered null sec belt rat behaviour towards drones.
Null sec belts rats initially seemed less effected by the changes, until YESTERDAY. |

My younger brother is a prime example of this trend. If I send him an email he'll skim read the title and first line and usually miss the important point.

I used to ninja rat in a manticore, I used to be able to jump in, take out a BS then move on to the next system no problem (so I could maintain sec status)
Now my poor manticore just gets stomped.

How has this changed now please? I used to do the same thing and would essentially speed tank with an ab and a med shield extender.
I'd always get full aggro anyway but only the elite frigs were a problem and I normally just avoided them. Does the new ai do something else I haven't thought of?
