Can someone at CCP please explain why a thread was locked in this forum for being "profane"? Or do you plan to use the "no discussion of moderation" thing? I'm actually very curious to know what was considered offensive and profane in the thread that was locked. I could post links to five vids off the top of my head that are worse than that flash animation.
Seriously, this is more than a moderation discussion. As a vid maker, I need to know what the limits are. Thus far, this has never happened in this forum. Locking of a vid thread for anything more than a flamage clean-up is unheard of. This is the one forum that the entire EVE community tends to consider 'neutral ground'.
****ographic is one thing, but who determins what is 'profane'? Where are the rules regarding this? Are we to begin censoring ourselves now instead of just using the good humor and common sense that has existed on this forum since the day it started?
Why, after nearly two years is this an issue?

i watched it, there was nothing profane about it, ive heard a lot worse on some ts recordings in vids that werent locked....
maybe isd love xetic ? :)
oh and im sure this is going to be locked too....

There was no reason at all for locking that thread or removing that link.
There is nothing profane about that movie, it was just funny, the only reason to remove it could be Xetic won't like it.

They were worried about this right from the go, i even offered to post it for them if they didnt want the mods warning.
Its a little over the top tbh. I know we have kids here but this is a subscription game so technically everyone is 18+ and has a credit card hehe. The movie wasnt that bad some mild swearing in one of the songs.
Anyway, no point getting worked up about it.

Just watched it again. Some stuff in the america song and then the "xetic president" says a "nasty" word too. Thats all I can find in it.
Pretty stupid to see it removed though  .

Just when people start sending me their money because they think my creation was the best thing made since ****ography in come the mods to tear it all down. When threads get 70 replies and 2000 views in less than a day without a single flame can't there be made an exception? Christ!
I mean BAH! This shows once again that hard community work doesn't pay off. I'm going to be 0.4 pirate griever from now on dedicated to finding new loopholes in the rules he can exploit to make the life of his fellow eve-man a living hell!
Either that or I'm highly compelled to start a new eve-site dedicated to eve material that CCP finds naughty.. Something like http://www.eve-xxx.com that'll feature all kinds of grotesque material like my movie, Lisa Monelli and puppies (YES).

Loxy, do you think that's what it was? TBH, I didn't even consider that! So now we have to be careful what MUSIC we choose? LOL! Soundtracks 4TW, I guess? 
I think this deserves an answer, or the thread can be re-opened and they can delete this one. I mean, come on... There's much more blantant 'offensive' material on at least 20 other vids in this section.
