Recently, I have been subjected to a betrayal that must be one of the most despicable acts that this game has witnessed.
A couple of weeks ago, a couple of memebers of the Hot Sauce corporation (Glok and Daily Hazard) decided they wanted to leave the corporation. Daily Hazard declared their intention in a corp mail. Following this Daily Hazard and Glok were confronted by one of the Corp directors (Laythun) who then subjected Daily Hazard to a tirade of criticism and abuse. Not being the sort of person who sits around and allows people to insult his (real-life too) friends Glok opened fire on Laythun and killed him in his pod. Whilst this was a regretable action, it is nonetheless understandable. I can personally vouch that Laythun is a pompous, self-interested person, and I must admit the desire to pod him had passed across my mind from time to time.
What then followed was a campaign of victimization against these two youngsters (yes they are snip years old in RL) by a collection of adults that turn out to be a bunch of vindictive bullies. Glok and Daily Hazard were put KOS not only for Hot Sauce but also for the entire 3rd Front Alliance. I would like to point out that Glok and Daily Hazard characters probably don't have any more than 5 million skill point between them. Hot Sauce must be real proud of themselves going after a couple of 2 million skill point teenagers. Frankly that is about all they can manage anyway. They can't hold their own systems.
At the time I was completely disgusted with the conduct of Hot Sauce, I took no action and made no criticism at the time. I resolved to take a break from the game and let the dust settle.
Glok, who I can tell you never had a malicious thought in his head has now turned to piracy - he had little alternative.
However this is not the end of it.
Yesterday I logged on with my character, to find that all my roles had been stripped and that my ships which I had left in the POS were no longer accessible. I am now informed that the corporation has decided to keep them, and now claim that they are corporation ships.
I was appalled. Whilst I was not impressed with Hot Sauces conduct, I had taken no action and I had never done anything to harm Hot Sauce. In fact I have been instrumental in building the corporation up. I have now been branded a corp thief and had just about everything I had aquired in the game taken away from me. Presumably I am now KOS too.
The characters responsible for this appalling betrayal are Laythun (alt Kumari Maelstrom), Codi (alt. Gly Fox), killer chick (alt. slave chick). I would like to add that I am also deeply hurt that some of the players (Codi in particular), who I have played eve with for the better part of a year, and considered as friends, should stab me in the back in this way. I am now trapped in 3rd Front space, surrounded by hostiles with everything I have played for months to get, stolen from me.
So now we know what Hot Sauce really is.
These characters must go down as amongst the most despicable players to ever foul the Eve universe.
I have been so shocked and hurt by this that I have suspended my Eve account for the time being, whilst I try to get over it. If any of you decent people ever wanted a legitimate target, then Hot Sauce must be it. The scumsuckers hide in 3rd Front Space and run empire operations in Stacmon. The only reason I might want to log on again would be to see their demise.
