This war was waged against the will and values of all the members in Phalanx Industries. After almost a month of battling, this war has finally come to a close. On 2005.05.16 2108hrs CONCORD issued the retraction of gigacorp's war declaration. Phalanx Industries would like to give a big thank you to Trevedian and the entire Smegheads Inc. corportation for playing a vital role in ending this war quickly and quietly. You have provided us with very professional service and anyone who uses your company in the future would be utilizing their resources well. We hope that we can strengthen our relationship and continue doing business in the future. We would also like to give an honorable mention to Xarnece and Genesis Technologies for their brief role in assisting us early on in this struggle. Your help in this matter has been duly noted. In two years of EVE I have never witnessed anyone as annoying guns, and it was a pleasure to war dec his corp. He smacked me in local for about 20 mins to come 1v1 him while there was 4 other hostiles in local (I was with 1 other bs), and when I finally came, he wasn't even there, and said I "missed my chance and was a noob," though he was the one too scared to 1v1. Oh and the hour of smack after this from his safespot was pretty funny as well

All of us in Phalanx industries come from a game called Allegiance where Guns was issued a perma ban by the admins for hacking the game multiple times. He declared war on us because he still resents the fact we can play it and he cannot. Go to www.freeallegiance.org and ask them what their opinions of Guns are. Or you can go to links and look up the Allegiance Academy and read the history which mentions Guns and his game hacking ways. We were a smaller non PvP corp and he would not leave us alone, and he has snip off a lot of people on the way. Not our problem that he made enemies and they saw fit to blow him away. I'm sure everyone knows better than to believe Gunsnroses alt (GigaIndy), since his reputation as a liar is well known. Anyone who has dealt with Gunsnrose knows this... 1) He talks obscene loads of smack in local to make people angry 2) If you reply to him once after he has cast dozens of aspersions on you, he petitions and threatens to get you banned (He threatened like 5 people in SMEGHEADS Inc. with banning the first night of our corp war [WHICH IS A VIOLATION OF THE EULA]) 3) He always runs, never fights (unless its a newb) and makes excuses(bad ones). To be quite honest I couldn't give two hoots what he may or may not have done in a previous game. If he is a hacker and a breaker of the EULA then that is between the GMs, anyone who has evidence of the fact he hacked Eve and himself. Pertaining to Eve and this particular folder of the forums the only relevant point is that your corp and Smegheads defeated a corporation of half a dozen newbs, which is hardly earth shattering or worth the forum backslapping going on here. When you or Smegheads take on someone of their own size, ability, experience and Eve knowledge and defeat them, then perhaps that might be forum worthy. All you are currently doing is stating that because of a grudge from a previous game you and some experienced pilots pwned some Eve newbies. This thread is therefore a waste of bandwidth and as it is primarily to do with continued hostility towards a player alledgedly from another game it has no place either in this forum folder or on the forums at all. If you believe there is a hacker in game take it to the GM's, if that is not the case and you just want to advertise the fact that some experienced players wtfpwnd some newbs then fine post in here but expect some debate on how un-newsworthy it is. We kill a ferox, Then GENT declares war on us. 77 person corp, and a 15 person corp. Vs mine. We destroy a Gent raven, multiple smaller ships, rifter, cruiser..... Etc... Another raven was camping my buddy, he launched in scorpion, and i was in an Assaultfrig, We killed that raven. Which BTW. Gent denies all knowledge of, even after seeing he kill mail A few hours later, GENT retracts the war dec. The only battles we turned down were when we were vastly out numbered. We sat out side of majorBJs station, in a scorp, and 2 Armagedons. He had a scorp/raven inside, and his corp members had a fleet of 5 people assembled and sitting in a safe spot. We still sat there 2 hours waiting for a battle. Another one of our members was coming up in a rifter to join us to tackle, and sitting on a gate into the system was FIVE Gents in 3 of which were in battleships. Now obviously, We retreated at this point, of it being 9 TO THREE! Wtf do you expect us to do? You guys are the ones who would not fight us when given a fair chance. Woot, Spidey lies somemore. I gave spidey 24 hour warning to leave Alleg corp. 24 hours passed, he didnt leave. He became fair game. The same went for there other new memebrs. I even killed one persons Heron, that i thought i warned. But i hadnt warned her of the war, i sent her a check for 50,000isk. We are honorable, It is YOU who are not honorable.

Heck last night we had a newb go to .4 space and get killed in a frigate. He was indignant because he thought .4 space was safe. The facts Gunns are too much for you to process. You blame us for this war... yet who started it? Who whined when people you have continaully irritated in Eve decided to join in to give you and your mates a good pasting??? Who ran to 0.0 space to hide behind a big corporation? We could have to protect our newbies... did we? No... because during the course of the war you and your buddies stopped being a threat to our developing players. When we hired Trevs corp... for a significant discount I might add after they heard who it was we were hiring... you uped and ran. If you recall I even offered to help you return to the Allegiance Community. I suggested you write a sincere letter to the Allegiance Senate and appologize for your past transgressions and admit everything. This occured while I was in the Senate. You agreed to write the letter, admit everything... and I would bring the matter to the Senate's attention and support a probationary return. Did you write the letter? Did you make the effort to applogize for your transgressions which ruined a community several thousand strong? DrStrnglv another Allegiance Senator even made the same offer to you... did you take him up on it? No you chose not to. In fact in my case you went so far as to go to the leaders of the Senate and boasted to them I was in your pocket to support your return... You hacked an online with the intention to ruin everyone's enjoyment of a fantastic teamplayer game... you boasted and admitted you were responsible... and then when you are banned for life, suddenly you come to the realization that life is not fair. How could they ban me??? Instead of looking to yourself you place blame with everyone else... your permanent ban becomes everyone elses fault. How is that?
